Pygmalion中言语幽默的汉译研究

　　幽默源于生活,又高于生活,是一种经过艺术加工的语言形式,用这种语言创作的以笑为艺术手段的文学艺术作品,受到了许多研究者的青睐。但是,幽默到底是什么,学术界并没有明确一致的解释。本研究以萧伯纳幽默戏剧Pygmalion及林语堂和杨宪益的汉译本为研究对象,在言语幽默概论及其延伸理论的框架下,建立原文和译文双语对照的平行数据库,通过对比两个汉译本中幽默翻译的异同,以探究出适合戏剧幽默文本的翻译方法,进一步完善言语幽默翻译研究。研究主要有四点发现:（1）翻译过程中应尽可能多的保留六个参数,尤其是深层参数中的脚本对立和表层参数中的叙述策略;（2）在戏剧文本的幽默翻译研究中,讽刺和修辞问句是促使原文中幽默产生的两种主要手段;（3）两译本中共用了五种翻译方法:直译、意译、合译、替代和省略,其中,林语堂译本中的直译和杨宪益译本中的意译是最能传递幽默效果的两种翻译方法,其他几种翻译方法或多或少都会导致幽默效果的缺失;（4）两位译者虽所处时代不同,但是两个译本都较好地保留了英文原著中的幽默效果,杨宪益译本更胜一筹。通过对所建立的数据库进行定量和定性的分析,结果表明,言语幽默概论及其延伸理论对Pygmali...
