图里翻译规范理论视角下《彼得·潘》任溶溶汉译本研究

上世纪80年代,以色列著名学者吉迪恩·图里在多元系统理论的基础上提出了翻译规范理论。他指出,翻译是一种受规范制约的活动,译者在翻译前的宏观选择以及在实际翻译中的各种决策无不受到社会文化等因素的影响。据此,他区分了三种重要的翻译规范:预备规范、初始规范以及操作规范。这三种翻译规范贯穿于翻译的整个过程,给翻译研究提供了很好的理论视角。《彼得·潘》是英国作家詹姆斯·巴里的代表作,也是英国儿童文学史上最具影响力的作品之一。该小说通过讲述主人公彼得·潘和其他一些孩子在梦幻岛上所经历的各种冒险故事深刻地揭示了成长这一主题的意义,深受读者,尤其是儿童读者的喜爱。这部作品1929年首次被译介到中国,后来又出现不少重译本;其中,任溶溶的译本是拥有大量读者、为人称道的优秀译本。本文拟用图里的翻译规范理论对任溶溶的译本进行分析探讨。文章从图里的三种翻译规范切入,通过描述性翻译研究方法分析《彼得·潘》的任溶溶汉译本,以期再现任溶溶的翻译过程,探讨其翻译策略与方法,最终试图找出该译本取得成功的原因。文章首先从预备规范和初始规范角度探讨任溶溶选择原文文本以及翻译策略的影响因素,然后从操作规范角度,在语言和文化两个...
