菲利普·拉金《吉尔》翻译实践报告

　　胡庚申教授于2001年提出翻译适应选择论将达尔文的“适应与选择”学说作为理论基础,从“译者为中心”的基本视角,对翻译过程中的“适应”和“选择”等现象进行系统的探讨,得出“翻译即适应与选择”的基本理念。前人对翻译适应选择论的研究主要是用来分析政府和旅游类文件翻译,笔者在熟读菲利普·拉金的长篇小说《吉尔》后,结合小说中的表达方式,语言习惯以及文化差异等方面的综合分析,拟采取翻译适应选择论来指导小说的翻译。本次翻译实践材料节选自菲利普·拉金的一篇长篇小说《吉尔》,此小说目前尚无中文译本,笔者在3万字的翻译基础上精选1万字进行研究。本次翻译实践报告运用翻译适应选择论的核心理念“三维适应性选择”,从语言维、文化维和交际维三个维度结合转译,编译,加注,直译,增译以及意译等翻译方法探讨本小说中的翻译难点。本报告的最终目的是在翻译适应选择论的指导下,为小说翻译提供新的分析角度,同时让拉金爱好者和广大读者深入了解菲利普·拉金及其作品。
