《红高粱家族》英译本中的中国文化形象重塑研究

《红高粱家族》作为国内首位诺贝尔文学奖获得者莫言的代表作,描绘了抗日战争时期东北高密乡人民的故事,大量的中国文化元素呈现其中。该小说英译本也成为研究热点,国外学者多注重研究译作本身的文学和社会价值,国内学者的研究范围稍广,包含翻译策略和方法、翻译理论、翻译伦理、文化翻译、译者主体性及翻译的社会学研究等诸多层面。但国内外学者对其翻译过程中的形象重塑研究较少,需进一步丰富完善。本研究以比较文学形象学为理论框架,以小说《红高粱家族》及葛浩文英译本中的28对典型译例（中英文对照）为语料,试图回答以下三个研究问题:（1）《红高粱家族》原文中塑造了哪些中国文化形象?（2）译者如何通过翻译重塑原文中的中国文化形象?（3）影响译者重塑形象的因素有哪些?作者首先分析总结了《红高粱家族》原文中的中国文化形象。然后运用形象学研究方法,即文本内部分析和文本外部分析对所选译例进行剖释。文本内部分析包含词汇、等级关系、情节三个层面,阐述了形象重塑过程中译者使用的翻译策略及方法。文本外部分析包括社会集体想象物和译者主观因素两方面,探析了影响译者重塑形象的社会文化因素。研究发现:（1）莫言在《红高粱家族》中刻画了包含...
