论《活着》中主人公的文学形象在英译本中的再现

　　众所周知,人物的文学形象是文学艺术作品中的重要因素之一。纵观中外文学史,可发现人物的文学形象在文学作品中占有着十分重要的地位,特别是叙述性的文学作品小说。作为文学艺术作品之一的长篇小说《活着》是著名作家余华的代表作,其英译本是由美国学者白睿文翻译。《活着》一经出版,就风靡了国内外的文学界,并荣获了意大利格林扎纳·卡佛文学奖等多项大奖。之所以如此受欢迎有很多方面的因素,其中之一就是它塑造了一个经典的文学形象—坚强乐观的富贵,给人们留下了深刻的印象。近些年来,许多学者们虽然对英译本进行了很多研究,但他们的研究都是在翻译理论视角下进行的,譬如目的论、图里翻译规范理论、生态翻译理论等等,还没有学者从美学的角度对文学形象的再现问题进行专门的研究,因此此篇论文将尝试着探讨文学形象在英译本中的再现问题。《活着》中的主人公的文学形象可以以时间为界限,分为前期和后期两个阶段。前期是玩世不恭的阔少爷,后期是老实质朴的农民。该论文首先以富贵形象的这两个面为出发点,选取了34个有代表性的例子,这些例子涵盖了对富贵的外貌,语言,动作和心理的描写。该论文就以人物塑造理论为基础,从外貌,语言,动作和心理这四个方面来...
