顺应论视角下《大漠祭》中隐喻英译研究

　　长篇小说《大漠祭》是中国甘肃作家雪漠的代表作,通过描写当代农村生活,对中国农民精神品性进行了深刻发掘。雪漠的小说充满西部旷野的风味以及甘肃的人情风俗,其语言鲜活、有质感、既形象又幽默。其英译本是由号称“中国文学在海外的接生婆”葛浩文及其夫人林丽君联手翻译的。其英译本把甘肃特殊的语言用英文表达出来而又不失原文的风味,易于英语读者所接受。隐喻无处不在,它是一种重要的修辞手法,雪漠在《大漠祭》中应用了许多隐喻这一修辞手法,译者需要宏观上从文化角度、微观上从语言角度来剖析作者的隐喻用意,才能更加准确地理解原文隐喻的同时传递其所表达的喻义。《大漠祭》是葛浩文及其夫人林丽君最新翻译的作品,前人对《大漠祭》的研究还处于初始阶段,暂未从顺应论的角度把《大漠祭》中的隐喻当作语料来研究,本文试图从顺应论这一理论角度来阐释《大漠祭》葛浩文译本中隐喻的翻译,旨在为今后隐喻翻译的研究提供借鉴意义。顺应论是比利时国际语用学学会秘书长Jef Verschueren在他1999年出版的《语用学新解》(Understanding Pragmatics)中提出的。Jef Verschueren从全新的视角去理解和诠释语用...
