英文小说“完美的沉默”和“小小火焰”汉译实践报告

　　本次翻译项目是对美国华裔作家李翊云的两篇短篇小说“A Flawless Silence”(“完美的沉默”)和“A Small Flame”(“小小火焰”)进行全文汉译。前一篇小说讲述了移民美国的家庭主妇敏为了回避年轻时相亲对象的父亲时不时的邮件骚扰,一直保持着沉默的故事。反映了性骚扰对于受害者生活轨迹产生的影响。后一篇小说描写的是华裔女律师贝拉回到中国,寻找她的过去——揭示了被收养孤儿在成长的过程中对命运无常的感慨。李翊云的作品主题以孤独和隔绝为主,关注普通人的特殊生活经历,关注社会现实和人的内心,具有翻译价值。翻译实践的意义在于:1.有利于作家作品的推介;2.有利于提升目标读者对于小说中提及的特殊群体和华裔人群思想情感、生活状态的认识;3.有利于提升译者的翻译实践能力和文学感悟力。在尤金·奈达“功能对等”理论的指导下,译者采用了词性转换、省词法、正反译法等翻译技巧,从意义、文体和文化三个层面来解决翻译过程中遇到的难点。此篇翻译实践报告共分为六章。第一章为翻译实践介绍,简述翻译项目的背景信息及意义。第二章为原文本介绍,包括对原文作者的介绍和对原文本的解析。第三章为翻译理论,简要解释说明...
