纽马克翻译理论下《寻找时间的人》两个中文译本对比研究

　　近年来,越来越多优秀的西方小说被翻译成中文,它们吸引了大量读者。读者通过阅读这些书籍,不仅享受精彩的故事情节,还可以借此更多地了解外国的优秀文化。本文的研究对象《寻找时间的人》就是其中之一,它曾获得多项国际大奖,但至今对小说及其译本的研究并不多。本文以《寻找时间的人》的两个中文译本作为研究对象,主要以纽马克翻译理论为支撑进行了对比研究。本文主要运用的研究方法是举例分析法和比较分析法。首先,基于纽马克的翻译批评理论,本文主要从功能批评和分析批评角度进行分析。基于功能批评对小说本身及其两个中文译本进行了综合分析。基于分析批评对两个译本中的语言误译及创造性翻译进行了研究。其次,基于纽马克的语义翻译和交际翻译方法,本文分别在词汇,句子和篇章层面对比分析了两个中译本。词汇层面,分析了具有爱尔兰特色的文化负载词以及习惯性表达的翻译;句子层面,分析了修辞句和定语从句的翻译;篇章层面,则分析了小说书名及其各个部分的标题的翻译和小说中有关环境描写的译文。通过对比分析,基于纽马克翻译批评理论,首先,本文发现孙张静译本最大程度上保持了原文的特点,用词简洁直白;闫雪莲译本善用四字词语,表达较为生动。其次,通过...
