关联翻译理论视阈下苏童小说《米》中汉语本源概念的英译研究

小说《米》是作家苏童的枫杨树系列长篇小说,该作品于2004年被搬上荧幕的同时,也开启了国内灰色主题电影之滥觞。《米》被翻译成多种语言,其中现存唯一英文译本Rice则是出自被誉为“西方世界最具权威的中国文学翻译家”葛浩文之手。除了对人性本恶的细腻描绘,丰富的本源概念也是《米》的一大语言亮点。在译介本源概念时,致力于实现不同文化圈的顺利交流沟通的研究已是蔚然成风。此外,当前学界对《米》英译本本源概念翻译研究仍处于空白,而随着该文本数据库的建立,深入研究葛浩文英译本本源概念的翻译也变得有据可依。综上原因,本研究以《米》及其英文译本Rice为研究对象,借助Gutt的关联翻译理论,探究葛浩文英译《米》的本源概念的英译模式。以何元建教授对本源概念的分类思想为指导,在小型双语数据库确立的基础上,标注,统计并分析《米》中的本源概念,通过探究各类本源概念的翻译策略使用情况,总结出关联翻译理论视阈下苏童小说《米》中汉语本源概念的英译模式,并与何元建教授的研究结果对比,与葛浩文译介其它小说作品时所呈现的本源概念翻译模式作对比,丰富本源概念的翻译研究。研究发现:(1)《米》中有467条本源概念,语言类、社会类...
