翁显良汉诗英译思想中的中国诗学元素研究

翁显良(1924-1983)是我国翻译界最有影响同时最独特的翻译家之一。他采用散文译诗,独具一格,引发了数十年的形式之争。他的译诗主张和《意态由来画不成?—文学翻译丛谈》在中国翻译界产生了重要的影响,为中国文学翻译理论建设做出了重要贡献。前人对翁显良的研究十分有限,且多聚焦于翁显良散体译诗的效果和某些翻译技巧的探讨。然而对翁显良汉诗英译思想及其成因这一课题的研究却缺乏该有的关注。有些研究仅仅将翁氏的翻译改写归结为其自身翻译思想在起作用,对于翁氏翻译思想形成的原因却闭口不谈。这些不足导致人们无法认识到翁氏散文译诗的真正原因及价值,更无法充分体会其翻译思想的魅力。本文旨在研究中国诗学元素在翁显良汉诗英译思想形成中产生的影响并揭示其思想对当代汉诗英译的意义。为达到该目的,需解决以下三个研究问题:(1)翁氏的理论著述中包含哪些中国诗学元素?(2)这些诗学元素是如何在翁氏的翻译实践中得到具体体现的?(3)翁氏翻译思想对诗歌翻译理论和当代汉诗英译有何意义?本文主要采用文献分析、文本分析和统计分析法解决以上问题。作者首先搜集翁氏论述诗歌翻译的材料,对其细读和分析,归纳出其中包含的中国诗学元素,然后结合...
