【摘要】：本翻译报告选用的文本是美国著名好莱坞演员坎迪·伯根的畅销回忆录《祈求好运》,该书回忆了坎迪的童年和早期生活的故事,以及她父母(尤其是作为美国著名腹语专家的父亲)对她的影响和爱之深切。在此期间,她不断成长、成熟,越来越独立。在论文导师的指导下,此次翻译任务由作者独立完成。翻译报告由四部分组成:任务描述、过程描述、案例分析和结论。本报告试图从纽马克的语义翻译和交际翻译理论出发,以《祈求好运》这部回忆录为例,分析译者的翻译实践并以此探讨文学传记的翻译策略。在本次翻译报告中,针对该传记的描述性语句和长句多的文体特点,译者讨论和分析了如何采用适当的翻译策略。同时也要注意在翻译过程中,为了达到更好的译文效果,译者不仅要传达出原文的完整意义,还应尽量与原作者的写作风格保持一致。
