【摘要】：近年来,批评界涌现了许多关于“空间”、“地点”和“文化地理学”的跨学科研究。空间批评和女性主义、性别研究都关注于身体、性属和主体性之间的关系。本文从女性主义角度出发,通过对《呼啸山庄》和《弗洛斯河上的磨坊》两部家庭小说空间解读,试图阐释维多利亚时期的家庭空间如何限制女性主体性的发展。笔者认为,艾米丽·勃朗特和乔治·艾略特的这两部女性成长小说中反映出家庭于女性的重要性,引发读者对“家庭”这一主题的关注与思考。家庭即家园,它既是社会单位,又有其鲜明的物理空间分布。第一章将通过对文化地理学的综述——尤其是女权主义视角之下的文化地理学,掌握文化地理学发展脉络以及女性地理学兴起缘由,同时提出本文的理论视角,即：空间具有性属；空间借助婚姻、教育和家务管理,限制女性的活动范围和主体性发展,从而强化男／女、公共空间／私人空间等二元对立。第二章和第三章结合空间理论,分别解读《呼啸山庄》和《弗洛斯河上的磨坊》中的家园对小说女主人公凯瑟琳和玛琪的主体性发展的影响。女性的主体性意识形成无法脱离其生活空间,家园对其而言既是一个避难所又是限制自我发展的囚笼。根据维多利亚时期的中产阶级家庭观,女性在家中需承担着“家庭天使”角色。凯瑟琳和玛琪所代表的这一类女性——与“家庭天使”这一形象格格不入的女性,其自我意识相悖于家庭空间对女性意识的要求——不甘忍受家庭的束缚,却又不能逃离家园。文章通过结合空间因素,分析女主人公的成长困境,借以探究勃朗特和艾略特的类女性主义思想。
[Abstract]:In recent years, many interdisciplinary studies have emerged in the critical circle of "space", "place" and "cultural geography". Space criticism and feminism and gender studies are concerned with the relationship between body, sex and subjectivity. This paper from the feminist perspective, based on "Wuthering Heights" and "the mill on the floss" two family novel interpretation of space, trying to explain the Vitoria development period of domestic space how to limit female subjectivity. The author believes that Emily Bronte and George Elliot's two women's initiation stories reflect the importance of family to women, causing readers to concern and think about the theme of family. Family is home, it is not only a social unit, but also has its distinct physical space distribution. The first chapter will analyze the cultural geography -- a review of cultural geography especially under the feminist perspective, grasp the development of cultural geography and feminist geography rise reason, and puts forward the theoretical perspective, this namely: space has; space with the aid of marriage, education and household management, the development scope and limit women's subjectivity. Male / female, so as to strengthen the public space and private space, the two opposite. The second chapter and the third chapter combines the space theory, influence interpretation of "Wuthering Heights" and "the mill on the floss" home in the development of subjectivity of the protagonist Catherine and Maggie. The consciousness of female subjectivity can not be divorced from their living space, home is restricted to the self development of the cage is a shelter. According to the middle class family view of Vitoria, women need to take the role of "family angel" in their home. The women represented by Catherine and Maggie -- the women who are incompatible with the image of "family angel" are contrary to their demands for women's consciousness in family space. They are unwilling to endure family constraints, but they cannot escape their homes. This paper, through the combination of spatial factors, analyzes the growing plight of the heroine to explore the feminist thoughts of Bront and Eliot.
