【摘要】：《麦田里的守望者》是美国文学史上最具争议的小说之一。它是美国作家塞林格出版的唯一一部长篇小说，被世人奉为现代经典之作，，影响了世界不同地区一代又一代年轻人，至今仍是最受欢迎的现代小说之一。小说的追寻主题一直是人们评论的焦点，本文运用20世纪下半叶兴起的空间批评理论分析讨论了小说所体现的追寻主题。小说中所描述的20世纪上半叶的社会生活充斥着虚伪与冷漠，这是由当时社会中传统观念与享乐主义思想并存导致的结果。由于空间再生产系统的存在，使这种充斥着虚伪与冷漠的社会空间不断地膨胀扩大，主人公霍尔顿不得不逃离这一空间，通过与思想淳朴善良的人们建立社会关系，从而在现实社会空间中开辟出自己的理想空间。从空间批评的角度对小说中的社会空间进行分析，本文认为，小说中所体现的社会空间中不同力量的较量导致了社会空间的变化。主人翁霍尔顿同那些善良的人所建立的关系实际上已经开辟了霍尔顿一直追寻的理想空间。
[Abstract]:"The catcher in the Rye" is one of the most controversial novels in the history of American literature. It is the only novel by American writer Salinger published, believed to be the modern classic, the influence of different regions of the world for generations of young people, remains one of the most popular modern novels. The novel Quest theme has been the focus of this review, the second half of twentieth Century, the rise of the space to discuss a novel theme of searching criticism theory analysis.
As described in the novels of the first half of the twentieth Century social life filled with hypocrisy and indifference, which is caused by the traditional concept of social ideology coexists and hedonism results. Because of the space reproduction system exists, which filled with hypocrisy and indifference in the social space constantly expanding, the protagonist Holton had to flee this space by establishing social relations with people, honest and kind, so as to open up their own ideal space in social space.
Analysis of the novel and social space from the perspective of space criticism in this paper that the contest between different powers embodied in the novel social space leads to changes in the social space. Master Holton with those kind of people the relationship has actually opened up Holton has been pursuing the ideal space.
