【摘要】：约翰·斯坦贝克是二十世纪美国最重要的现实主义作家之一。作为自幼熟知《圣经》的作家,斯坦贝克的文学创作深受《圣经》的影响,其《人鼠之间》中明显存在模仿《圣经》常见主题的痕迹。本文运用互文性理论重点探讨《人鼠之间》与《圣经》在主题方面的互文性关系,旨在分析该小说对《圣经》主题的模仿。除绪论和结论外,本论文共分为三章。第一章着重分析《人鼠之间》对《圣经》中失去伊甸园和重建伊甸园这一主题的模仿。以《圣经》中亚当和夏娃被逐出伊甸园的故事为切入点,《人鼠之间》再现了《圣经》中的伊甸园场景,并对小说中人物对美好伊甸园式家园的憧憬和不懈追求进行了模仿。第二章主要论证《人鼠之间》对《圣经》中流浪和孤独主题的模仿,认为该小说再现和模仿了《圣经》中关于该隐和亚伯的故事,小说中的人物也背负着人类始祖被上帝惩罚并从此永远流浪他乡的诅咒,并忍受孤苦无助的生活境况。第三章主要阐释《人鼠之间》对《圣经》中的堕落与拯救主题的模仿。借由《圣经》中人类始祖堕落却依旧得到上帝庇护和拯救的故事,以及《新约》中宣扬的基督教教义,本文作者发现,《人鼠之间》中人物(卡尔森,科莱和威特)堕落的心理和颓废的生活深深印刻着《圣经》中堕落和原罪的痕迹,而怀有梦想和希望的人(乔治,莱尼,坎迪)渴望通过勤劳和努力被上帝拯救。通过模仿《圣经》中的这几个主题,斯坦贝克在《人鼠之间》中传达了他本人浓厚的基督教信仰以及《圣经》对他创作的影响。从互文性这一角度解读《人鼠之间》对《圣经》常见主题的模仿有助于读者更好地理解和把握该小说深刻的主题内涵。
[Abstract]:John Steinbeck is one of America ' s most important realistic writers in the twentieth century . As a writer who is well known as the Bible writer , Steinbeck ' s literary creation is deeply influenced by the Bible . In chapter 1 , the author finds out that the characters ( Carpaulson , Collet , and Witt ) in the Bible have been punished by God . The characters in the novel also bear the curse of God ' s refuge and salvation . In the second chapter , the author finds that the characters ( Carson , Collet and Witt ) in the novels of the Bible are deeply influenced by God ' s death and salvation . In chapter three , the author finds that the characters ( Carpaulson , Collet and Witter ) in the novels of the Bible are deeply impressed with the traces of the degeneration and the sins of the Bible , and those who have dreams and hope ( George , Lenny , and Candie ) are eager to be saved by God through hard work and effort . Through the imitation of these themes in the Bible , Steinbeck conveys his strong Christian faith and the influence of the Bible on his creation . The interpretation of the common theme of the Bible from the perspective of intertextuality can help the reader to better understand and grasp the profound theme connotation of the novel .
