【摘要】：E.M.福斯特是英国二十世纪著名的小说家和文学评论家,他一生创作了六部长篇小说、两部短篇小说集、一部文学理论著作及多篇散文、杂文等。虽然他的作品不多,但因其作品中所表达的普遍而深刻的主题而使其作品经久不衰。其幻想小说是他在一战前的不同时期写下的,多为短篇小说。这些小说或戏仿古希腊罗马神话故事,或引用著名作家及其作品中的人物,多用诗一般凝练的语言将小说主题含蓄地表达出来,并运用典故、神话故事来隐喻主旨,情节离奇荒诞,意蕴丰富深刻,给读者留下了丰富的想象空间。本文旨在研究福斯特幻想小说的创作主题,拟从以下几个部分进行论述：绪论部分主要介绍了国内外对福斯特及其幻想小说的研究概况,并对幻想与幻想小说的概念进行了界定；第一章论述了其幻想小说回归自然的主题,主要从回归自然与社会习俗的对立和回归自然与社会机制的对立两个方面进行论述；第二章论述了联结主题,主要从人与人、人与自然的联结两个角度进行论述；第三章论述了旅行一探寻主题,主要从对纯真天性和生命真谛的探寻两个方面进行论述；结语部分重申了研究福斯特幻想小说主题的价值和意义。目前国内对福斯特长篇小说的研究层出不穷,但对其短篇幻想小说的研究却为数不多,零星出现一些介绍性的文章或论述其某一篇幻想小说的论文,对其幻想小说主题的系统研究更是寥寥无几。其幻想小说的主题主要有回归自然、联结、旅行—探寻等主题。在一定程度上,福斯特后期的长篇小说创作也延续了这些主题。因此,系统地研究福斯特幻想小说及其主题显得尤为重要,这对理解福斯特的整体文学创作有着重要的价值和意义。
[Abstract]:In 20th century, E. M. Foster was a famous novelist and literary critic in England. In his life, he wrote six novels, two collections of short stories, one literary theoretical work and several essays. Although his works are not many, but his works expressed in the universal and profound themes and make his work enduring. His fantasy novels were written in different periods before the first World War. Most of them are short stories. These novels or parodies of ancient Greek and Roman mythology or quoting famous writers and the characters in their works are often used in poetic condensed language to express the theme of the novel implicitly and use allusions. Mythical stories are metaphorical purport, the plot is absurd, the meaning is rich and profound, leaving the readers with rich imagination space. The purpose of this paper is to study the themes of Foster's fantasy novels, and to discuss them from the following parts: the introduction mainly introduces the domestic and foreign research on Foster and his fantasy novels. The concept of fantasy and fantasy novels is defined. The first chapter discusses the theme of returning to nature in his fantasy novels, mainly from two aspects: returning to nature and social custom and returning to nature and social mechanism. The second chapter discusses the theme of connection, mainly from the two angles of the connection between man and man and between man and nature. The third chapter discusses the theme of the exploration of travel, mainly from the pure nature and the search for the true meaning of life two aspects of the discussion; The conclusion restates the value and significance of studying the theme of Foster's fantasy novels. At present, there are many studies on Foster's novels in China, but there are few researches on his short fantasy novels, and there are some introductory articles or papers on one of his fantasy novels. To a certain extent, the themes of fantasy novels are mainly about returning to nature, connection, travel-seeking and so on. These themes have been continued in the later novels of Foster, so it is very important to study his fantasy novels and their themes in a systematic way. This is of great value and significance to understanding Foster's overall literary creation.
