【摘要】:艾伦·霍林赫斯特(1954-)是英国自E.M.福斯特以来最重要的小说家之一。他善于觉察人物的细微情感,总是能将诗句以散文形式呈现出来。在他的笔下,同性恋者们的日常生活及其交错复杂的情感总能得以自然流露。不同于十九世纪和二十世纪早期的作家们,如奥斯卡·王尔德或E.M.福斯特,霍林赫斯特并不需要通过隐讳的语言来呈现同性恋情。另一方面,他并不追随当下的许多同性恋作家的“出柜”叙述方式。相反的是,他擅长于采用优美的散文式体裁来直接描绘同性性爱,并因此而受到赞誉。自从霍林赫斯特的第四本小说——《美丽曲线》在2004年获得布克奖以来,国内的评论家们全部集中于这部小说的研究,极少涉及他的其他小说。然而,他之前创作的几部小说与该部获奖小说一样优秀。 本论文分为五部分:第一章为引言,介绍霍林赫斯特本人及其作品,并将国内外对其及其作品的研究进行综述。 第二章主要介绍当下较受关注的酷儿理论。该理论为分析《折叠的星星》中的“酷儿化”人物和“酷儿化”写作技巧做好了铺垫。作者追朔了酷儿理论的产生,酷儿理论与艾滋病的关系,以及酷儿理论在中国的研究现状。 第三章着重分析了“酷儿化”主人公——爱德华·曼讷斯和其他次要人物。在本章的第一节,作者呈现了主人公——爱德华·曼讷斯是如何成为一个“边缘知识分子”的,描述了他在同性爱中的沉迷,以及他对美丽的独特见解。其他次要人物的“酷儿性”则在第二节中得以完整的呈现。 第四章主要分析了霍林赫斯特应用于《折叠的星星》中的“酷儿化”写作技巧:包括第一人称视角、复杂的情节和独特的叙述方式等。这些写作技巧以及散文式的体裁进一步深化了“酷儿化”人物的呈现。 第五章为结论,作者试图阐明以下观点:《折叠的星星》区别于其他同性恋体裁小说在于其毫不隐晦的性爱场景呈现和散文式的体裁。再者,《折叠的星星》的特别之处在于霍林赫斯特对人物情感的细微观察和逼真的呈现。同时,酷儿理论作为较新的文学批评理论,为边缘文化的解读带来新的理解,也为国内对同性恋作品的研究带来启发。
[Abstract]:Alan Hollinghurst (1954-) is one of Britain's most important since E.M. since Forster novelist. He is good at perceiving subtle character, always can be expressed in prose poem. In his works, gay life and complicated emotion can be naturally different from their early writers in the nineteenth Century and twentieth Century such as Oscar, Wilde Forster or E.M. Hearst, Huo Lin does not need to conceal language to show gay love. On the other hand, he did not follow many gay writers of the "coming out" narrative. On the contrary, he is good at using beautiful prose genre to directly portray gay sex, and therefore since the Huo Lin won praise. Hearst's fourth novel, "the beautiful curve > won the Booker Prize in 2004, domestic critics all The study of this novel is rarely involved in his other novels. However, several of his previous novels are as excellent as the award winning novel.
This thesis is divided into five parts: the first chapter is the introduction, which introduces Hearst himself and his works, and summarizes the research on it and his works at home and abroad.
The second chapter mainly introduces the current popular queer theory. The theoretical analysis of the folding star in < > "queer" characters and "queering" techniques pave the way. The author traces the theory, the relationship between AIDS and queer theory, and queer theory research status in the China.
The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the "queer" heroine, Edward Manders and other minor characters.
