论《白鲸》中的崇高

【摘要】：赫尔曼·麦尔维尔是美国著名小说家,他的传世巨作《白鲸》描述了亚哈船长为了复仇展开追逐白鲸莫比·迪克的经历。本文运用康德关于美学中“崇高”的理论,通过分析小说中的白鲸与海洋的意象,并重点分析了文中主人公亚哈船长,从而探讨了《白鲸》中所体现的崇高之感。本文分为七个部分,第一章介绍部分提出了本文的基本观点。第二章介绍了文献综述。第三章介绍了康德的“崇高“理论的研究。第四章分析了亚哈船长所体现的崇高之感。第五章通过分析小说中的大海意象来分析所体现的崇高。第六章分析了白鲸这一意象所体现的崇高。在结束语部分,本文得出的结论是亚哈船长的非理性的复仇以及毁灭是一场悲剧,而整部小说以及亚哈船长的悲剧之美就是“崇高”之感的具体体现。
[Abstract]:Hermann Melville is a well - known novelist in the United States . He described the experience of Captain Alexander Dick in pursuit of revenge . In this paper , Kant ' s theory of " sublimity " in aesthetics is used to analyze the image of the white whale and the ocean in the novel , and emphatically analyzes the captain of the hero in this paper , thus exploring the sublime feeling embodied in the poem . Chapter Three introduces the study of Kant ' s " noble " theory . Chapter Three introduces the sublimity of Kant ' s " noble " theory . Chapter Three analyzes the sublime of the image of the sea captain . The fifth chapter analyzes the sublimity embodied in the image of the sea . In conclusion , the conclusion is that the captain ' s irrational revenge and destruction is a tragedy , and the beauty of the tragedy of the captain of the whole part is embodied in the sense of " sublime " .
