【摘要】：拉尔夫·埃里森是美国黑人作家,1952年出版的小说《看不见的人》获得了1953年的国家图书奖,这部小说因被称作现代黑人生活划时代的史诗而一举成名。小说被认作是自二战以来最具影响力的黑人小说之一,在20世纪美国文学史上占有非常重要的地位。身份话题是黑人作家经久不衰的主题,小说《看不见的人》也不例外。小说描述了一个在白人社会遭受歧视的黑人年轻人的经历。自小说出版以来，就有许多批评家从后殖民主义的视角对其进行研究。小说探讨了黑人在美国的“看不见”，大多批评家关注的是小说主人公以及他身边的男性角色，而很少会注意到小说中的女性人物。国内外学者忽视小说中女性形象,正如男权社会中男性对女性的忽视。小说中提到了近20位女性人物，大多数都是无名无姓，被忽视，被隐没了声音，正如小说开篇主人公所叙述的“我是看不见的人”,她们就是看不见的女人,因为“人们拒绝看见我”。众多的女性形象给读者留下了深刻的印象。女人在男性为主导的社会中的弱势地位就像黑人在白人社会中的地位。在以男性为主导的社会中，像小说中的主人公一样，女性也丢失了自我身份成为了“看不见的人”。本论文将从女性主义的视角探讨小说中的女性形象，并分析这些女性形象形成的原因，以为小说的解读提供一个不同的视角。这篇论文分为五部分,首先是对小说家埃里森的生平和小说《看不见的人》的写作背景简介，而对于小说的研究，大部分评论家都是从采用意识形态和后殖民主义的视角，对于小说人物的研究主要是对男性主人公和他身边的男性形象进行研究，小说中的女性形象少有人研究，Stanford主要分析了小说中的Mary这一母亲形象，Sylvander将小说中的女形象分作两类：母亲形象和诱惑者形象，分析了几位女性形象。第一章是理论依据,这一章将对女性主义的发展历程和对Woolf，Beauvoir和Millett主要女性主义观点和女性主义概念---父权制进行梳理。第二章选取了小说中部分女性人物进行分析，并指出Ellison笔下女性形象并未如Sylvander所认为的完全落入男性视角的俗套-----女性不是母性形象就是诱惑者形象，而是有着丰富多面的性格特征的，Ellison正是通过这些女性形象来说明以男性为主导的社会对女性压制和对女性的规约。第三章主要从四个方面分析了Ellison的女性形象的成因：母亲和妻子的影响，他作为黑人的身份，女性主义思想的影响以及对主人公形象塑造和小说主题的考虑。最后是对小说中女性形象研究的总结。根据上述分析，，可以得知，埃里森对女性更多的是持同情态度的。
[Abstract]:Ralph Erichsen , an American black writer , won the National Library Award in 1953 . The novel was named as a epic in the age of modern black life . The novel was recognized as one of the most influential black novels ever since World War II , which has a very important position in the history of American literature in the 20th century . The topic of identity is the enduring theme of black writers , and the Invisible Man is no exception . The novel describes the experience of a black young man who has been discriminated against in the white society . Since the novel has been published , many critics have studied it from the perspective of post - colonialism . Most critics focus on the female characters in the novel . Most of the critics have ignored the female image in the novel . Most of them are anonymous , neglected , and hidden . As the novel opens up the hero , " I ' m invisible " , they are invisible women , because " people refuse to see me " . Many female images give readers a deep impression . Women ' s weak position in a male - dominated society is like the status of a black in a white society . In a male - dominated society like the hero in a novel , women also lose their self - identity as " invisible people . " This thesis will explore the female image in the novel from the perspective of feminism , and analyze the reasons for the formation of these female images to provide a different perspective for the interpretation of the novel . This thesis is divided into five parts : Firstly , it is a brief introduction to the writing background of the author ' s life and the novel ' s Invisible Man ' s image . In the second chapter , most of the critics have studied the female characters in the novel . The chapter 1 is the theoretical basis . This chapter analyzes the female image in the novel : the mother and wife . The first chapter is the summary of the female image research in the novel .
