【摘要】：安妮·普鲁是当代美国文坛上一位大器晚成的女性作家。《船讯》是她的第二部长篇小说。这部小说继获得了1993年美国国家图书奖之后,又摘走了1994年普利策奖的桂冠。2001年,这部小说被搬上了好莱坞荧幕,反响不俗。小说主人公奎尔是一个失败的中年男人,长相不佳,逆来顺受,生活和婚姻一败涂地,精神生活空虚无助。在几近末路时落荒而逃般的带着两个幼小的女儿,和年迈的姑妈一道,回到祖居的加拿大纽芬兰岛的海边老屋。在那个生存环境严酷到了极点的海边地带他却获得了喧嚣纷扰的大城市中缺失的心灵的释然,幸福的生活和温婉亲和的爱情。当今世界全球化进程迅速,但同时环境污染、气候异常、生态灾难频繁等问题却有愈演愈烈之势。与此同时人类的精神世界也岌岌可危。人的生态与人的心态密切相关,生态问题的解决首先有赖于人类生态观和价值观的取向。人类精神世界中价值取向的偏狭,情感世界的苍白,人性的扭曲和异化等都是精神生态危机的种种表征。随着现代化的推进,精神的失落和异化越来越引人关注。本论文分为七章。第一章介绍作者安妮·普鲁和《船讯》以及本论文研究的目的和意义。第二章介绍《船讯》的国内国外研究。第三章为本文的展开提供理论基础,介绍生态批评和精神生态的发展情况。第四章分析《船讯》中的精神生态危机状况。首先揭露现代家庭中的爱的缺失现象,主要分析了父子间爱的缺失,母亲对子女的爱的缺失。其次揭露现代人精神生活的空虚状态,指出精神游荡是其具体表现形式,追求感官享受和使用暴力行为是现代人试图走出精神生活空虚状态而采取的途径。第五章分析出现精神失衡的原因,主要揭露人们偏狭的价值取向,分别从对待自然采取的人类中心主义态度,人与人交往时的等级制,和人自身不断膨胀的欲望这三个角度展开论述。第六章探讨了人类走出精神危机的途径,认为对自然的部分“返魅”、回归自然、人与人之间的爱以及追求简朴生活是帮助人类走出精神困境的方法。第七章是对全文的总结,总结出其中所蕴含的精神生态必须和谐的思想,提醒人们物质生活和精神生活平衡的重要性,创建诗意的生活。同时也指出本论文存在的不足和建议。
[Abstract]:Anne Plu is a woman writer in the contemporary American literature. "ship News" is her second novel. It won the National Book Award in 1993, and it also won the Pulitzer Prize in 1994. 2001, The novel was put on the Hollywood screen and received a good reception. Quill, the protagonist of the novel, is a failed, middle-aged man with a poor appearance, a bad face, a life and marriage that is ruined, a spiritual life empty and helpless. At the end of the day, Quill runs away with two young daughters. Together with her elderly aunt, he returned to his ancestral home on Newfoundland, Canada, where he was relieved by the loss of his heart in a seaside area where the environment was so harsh that he was in the midst of a tumultuous big city. The process of globalization in today's world is rapid, but at the same time environmental pollution, abnormal climate, frequent ecological disasters and other problems have a growing trend. At the same time, the spiritual world of mankind is also at risk. Human ecology is closely related to human mentality. The solution of ecological problems depends first of all on the orientation of human ecological outlook and values, the narrowness of value orientation in the human spiritual world, and the paleness of the emotional world, The distortion and alienation of human nature are all signs of the spiritual ecological crisis, and with the development of modernization, the loss and alienation of the spirit are attracting more and more attention. This paper is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter introduces the author Anne-Prou and "ship News" and the purpose and significance of this paper. The second chapter introduces the domestic and foreign research of "ship News". The third chapter provides the theoretical basis for the development of this paper. This paper introduces the development of ecological criticism and spiritual ecology. Chapter 4th analyzes the situation of spiritual ecological crisis in ship News. Firstly, it exposes the lack of love in modern family, and mainly analyzes the lack of love between father and son. Secondly, it reveals the emptiness of modern people's spiritual life, and points out that spiritual loitering is its concrete manifestation. The pursuit of sensual enjoyment and the use of violence is the way that modern people try to get out of the empty state of spiritual life. Chapter 5th analyzes the causes of mental imbalance, mainly exposing the value orientation of people's intolerance. From the three angles of human-centered attitude to nature, hierarchy of human interaction, and man's own expanding desire, chapter 6th discusses the way of human being out of spiritual crisis. It is considered that the partial "reenchantment" of nature, the return to nature, the love between people and the pursuit of simplicity are the ways to help human beings out of their spiritual predicament. Chapter 7th is a summary of the full text. The author sums up the idea that the spiritual ecology must be harmonious, reminds people of the importance of balance between material life and spiritual life, and establishes poetic life. At the same time, it also points out the shortcomings and suggestions in this paper.
