利奇的礼貌理论与《爱玛》中的人物话语分析

【摘要】：《爱玛》是英国女作家简·奥斯汀唯——部以女主人公的名字作为书名的经典文学作品。很多学者已从不同的视角来研究和评论这部小说。本文尝试从语用学的角度,运用里奇的礼貌原则和礼貌大同策略来分析和探讨小说中主要人物的话语,以帮助读者更好地理解这部经典作品。本研究期望能帮助读者更加深入地掌握里奇的新旧礼貌原则的本质,更加恰当地将其运用于人们日常交际生活之中以达到为人们提供更多有效的交际策略和技巧,提高个人的交际能力,促进交际的顺利进行,从而使人与人之间的关系得以增进和巩固,最终实现有效而成功的交际。本文首先综述出一些知名学者提出的一些具有影响的礼貌理论。其中相关的礼貌理论研究包括：Erving Gof fman提出的面子概念,Lakoff主张的语用能力规范观、BrownLevinson提倡的面子维护观,Fraser提出的会话合同或契约观等。其次作者结合生活中的真实例子详细阐述了Leech的新旧礼貌原则以及相关的理论。这部分是是本文的理论基础综述部分。最后部分是本文的主体,主要是运用里奇的礼貌理论来分析《爱玛》这部小说中的主要人物的对话以帮助读者更加深刻地了解作品中人物的性格特征和他们之间错综复杂的关系,更好地掌握作家简·奥斯汀的语言风格,最重要的是加深和强化人们的礼貌意识并以此作为一种交际行为的规范,使交际在友好和谐的氛围之中进行。同时也为人们在日常生活交际过程中提供一些方法和策略让人们的言语行为在特定的场合下表现得更礼貌更得体,以达到既让人们正确有效地传递了所需的交流信息又不失礼貌之过。
[Abstract]:Emma is a classic work of British female writer Jane Austen, whose title is the heroine. Many scholars have studied and commented on the novel from different perspectives. Using Ritchie's politeness principle and politeness strategy to analyze and discuss the discourse of the main characters in the novel. This study is intended to help readers better understand the nature of Ritchie's old and new politeness principles. In order to provide more effective communication strategies and skills, improve personal communicative competence and promote the smooth progress of communication, it is more appropriate to apply it to people's daily communication life, so as to provide more effective communication strategies and skills for people. So that the relationship between people can be enhanced and consolidated, and finally effective and successful communication. This paper first summarizes some influential politeness theories put forward by some famous scholars. The related politeness theories include the concept of face put forward by Gof fman and the pragmatic competence normative view advocated by Leakoff. The face dimension advocated by Brown Levinson. Secondly, the author elaborates Leech's old and new politeness principles and related theories with real examples in life. This part is the theoretical basis of this paper. Part is the main body of this paper, Ritchie's politeness theory is mainly used to analyze the dialogue of the main characters in the novel "Emma" in order to help readers understand the characters of the characters and the intricate relationships between them. To get a better grasp of Jane Austen's language style and, most importantly, to deepen and strengthen people's sense of politeness as a norm of communication, To make communication in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere. At the same time, it also provides some methods and strategies for people to behave more politely and appropriately in the course of daily life communication. In order to enable people to communicate the necessary information correctly and effectively without losing courtesy.
