《都柏林人》狂欢化解读

【摘要】:乔伊斯是现代欧洲文学最重要的作家之一。他的巅峰之作《尤利西斯》和《芬尼根的觉醒》赢得了无数美誉,只可惜因深奥晦涩的意识流技巧和试验笔法而少人问津。他的早期习作、短篇小说集《都柏林人》却以简单的语言和独特的艺术赢得了读者和批评家的一致青睐。本文试图借鉴巴赫金的狂欢化理论,深入分析《都柏林人》中的的部分狂欢化因素,并挖掘这部短篇小说集的杰出创作艺术。论文共分五部分:导论部分简要介绍了《都柏林人》的国内外研究现状,巴赫金狂欢化理论中的脱冕和加冕、笑声和戏仿、狂欢化场景的阐释,以及论文的谋篇布局;接下三部分紧扣故事文本,对《都柏林人》中的15个故事进行层层梳理和分析。第一部分在简要介绍每个文本大意的基础上,深入剖析了各个故事中狂欢化脱冕和加冕的形式因素,发现它们大致可以分为三类:孩子与成人、女性与男性、世俗与宗教。随着时间的推移,这些脱冕和加冕因素不断加强并呈现多样化趋势。第二部分则详尽分析了每个故事中的戏仿和由此产生的笑声,归纳出戏仿和讽刺的因素越来越重;第三部分则挖掘了故事中的狂欢化场景:窗户,楼梯和街道,并认为窗户连接了故事中人物的内在世界和外在世界,楼梯体现了森严的等级及相应的颠覆,街道在不同狂欢化场景之间起到缓冲和准备作用。结语部分总结概况了故事之间的狂欢化因素,认为《都柏林人》中的故事中的前后相互作用,使这部短篇小说集融汇成一个长篇巨著。
[Abstract]:Joyce is one of the most important writers of modern European literature. His masterpieces, Ulysses and Finnegan's Awakening, have won countless fame. It is a pity that his early works were not followed by the obscure techniques of stream of consciousness and experimental writing, Dubliners, a collection of short stories, has won the unanimous favor of readers and critics with its simple language and unique art. This paper attempts to draw lessons from Bakhtin's carnival theory and analyze some of the carnival factors in Dubliners. The paper is divided into five parts: the introduction briefly introduces the domestic and international research situation of the Dubliners, the coronation and coronation of Bakhtin's carnival theory, laughter and parody. The exposition of the carnival scene and the layout of the thesis, the following three parts are closely related to the text of the story, and the 15 stories in the Dubliners are sorted out and analyzed layer by layer. The first part is based on a brief introduction of the main ideas of each text. By analyzing the formal factors of coronation and coronation in various stories, we find that they can be roughly divided into three categories: children and adults, women and men, secular and religious. The second part analyzes the parody in each story and the laughter it produces, and concludes that the parody and satire are becoming more and more serious. The third part excavates the carnival scene in the story: windows, stairs and streets, and thinks that the windows connect the inner world and the external world of the characters in the story, the staircase embodies the strict hierarchy and the corresponding subversion. Streets play a buffer and preparation role between different carnival scenes. The conclusion summarizes the carnival factors among stories, and concludes that the interaction between the stories in Dublin Man, The collection of the short story was combined into a monumental work.
