《傲慢与偏见》对话中的语用机制及文学效果研究

【摘要】：《傲慢与偏见》是英国著名女作家简·奥斯汀的代表作。小说自从1813年问世以来,一直受到学者及评论家的关注。关于该小说的研究,大多侧重于小说中所反映的婚姻爱情观以及女性主义。近年来小说中生动、精彩的人物对话备受研究者的重视。许多学者都认为人物之间的对话是简·奥斯丁小说创作的重要手段,并且从不同角度对小说中人物对话艺术进行了探究,如功能语言学视角和语用学等视角。但是,综合运用相关语用理论对小说中人物对话进行研究以探讨文学效果的研究还比较少。因此,本文以言语行为理论、会话分析以及礼貌理论为理论基础,分析人物语言使用之动态文学过程,并探讨文学语用之效果。旨在展示抽象的文学意义怎样通过语用机制得以更好的传递,加深人们对作者创作技巧和手段的再认识,同时提高接受效果。就理论基础而言,本文首先探讨了言语行为理论、会话分析以及礼貌理论,然后阐释了三种语用理论各自的文学意义,最后综合形成了本研究的理论框架。在详细的人物话语分析中,本文通过分析人物对言语行为适切条件的遵守或者违反探讨人物的性格特征,并且通过人物实施的间接言语行为来展示讽刺幽默的文学效果是如何产生的；用会话分析理论揭示奥斯丁塑造人物的手段和技巧；礼貌理论被用来分析人物之间的关系变化、情节发展、以及人物之间冲突的产生。本研究从理论上加深了人们对言语行为理论、会话分析以及礼貌理论等经典语用理论的再认识。在实际应用方面,它推进了人们对《傲慢与偏见》价值的深层感悟,而且对其他文学作品的理解欣赏有所启示,对文学教学和翻译等均有一定的借鉴作用。
[Abstract]:Pride and Prejudice is the masterpiece of Jane Austen, a famous British woman writer. The novel has attracted the attention of scholars and critics since it was published in 1813. Most of them focus on the view of marriage and love and feminism reflected in the novels, which are vivid in recent years. Many scholars think that dialogue between characters is an important means of Jane Austen's novel creation, and explore the art of character dialogue in the novel from different angles. Such as functional linguistics and pragmatics, however, there are few researches on the characters' dialogue in the novel with the help of relevant pragmatic theories. Therefore, this paper uses the theory of speech act as the theory of speech act. On the basis of conversational analysis and politeness theory, this paper analyzes the dynamic literary process of the use of characters' language and discusses the effects of literary pragmatics. The purpose of this paper is to show how abstract literary meaning can be better transmitted through pragmatic mechanism. To deepen people's understanding of the author's creative skills and means, while improving the acceptance effect. On the theoretical basis, this paper first discusses the speech act theory, conversational analysis and politeness theory, and then explains the respective literary meanings of the three pragmatic theories. Finally, it forms the theoretical framework of this study. In the detailed character discourse analysis, this paper analyzes the characters' character characteristics by observing or violating the appropriate conditions of speech acts. It also shows how the literary effect of satirical humor is produced by the indirect speech act of the characters, reveals Austen's methods and techniques of shaping characters by conversational analysis theory, and the politeness theory is used to analyze the changes of the relationship between the characters. This study theoretically deepens people's understanding of classical pragmatic theories such as speech act theory, conversational analysis and politeness theory. In practical application, it promotes people's deep understanding of the value of Pride and Prejudice. Moreover, it has some enlightenment to the understanding and appreciation of other literary works, which can be used for reference in literature teaching and translation.
