对比语言学视角下的汉英婚姻谚语研究

【摘要】：语言是文化的载体,是人类交流的重要工具。作为语言的一种特殊形式,谚语是人民对生活和生产劳动的经验总结,是人类智慧的结晶。关于婚姻的谚语是人类对婚姻生活和婚姻态度的经验总结,中外关于婚姻的谚语都包含了自己国家婚姻的特定的文化色彩。对不同文化不同民族的婚姻谚语进行研究,就是对不同婚姻文化和习俗的研究。这种对比研究,不仅是我们深刻地领会到英汉两种语言的奥秘,还可以帮助我们理解两个民族婚姻文化的异同。本次研究要达到四个目的：首先,为英语学习者提供了有关汉英婚姻谚语的背景资料,英语学习者能够更好地理解汉英婚姻谚语。其次,汉英婚姻谚语分别反应出它们各自的婚礼习俗,学习者会尊重和接受彼此的文化,因此有利于提高学习者的跨文化交际能力。再次,希望教师在教学过程中更加注重汉英婚姻谚语的讲解。最后,希望本次研究通过分析文化因素帮助学习者有效地学习汉英婚姻谚语。本次研究通过文献检索的方式查阅《英语谚语集锦》、《汉英英语谚语手册》、英语谚语荟萃》、《中华谚语大词典》、《谚联增广》和《谚语新编》,检索出相关的汉英婚姻谚语。从语言特点、概念隐喻和文化内涵三个方面对英汉关于婚姻的谚语进行研究。在语言特点方面,除了押韵和重复的语音特点,汉语婚姻谚语常用平仄、对仗,双声词、叠韵词来增添语音效果,而英语婚姻谚语则采用元音重复和头韵来增强表达效果；两种谚语都存在对等和因果的语义关系,两种谚语都尝试用反义词来突出表达的效果。英汉两个民族都把婚姻比喻成旅行、植物、心、建筑物、缘分、商品和战争,中国人常把婚姻看作是一种味道而外国人则更多地把婚姻当做是一种束缚。许多有关婚姻的谚语展现了英汉民族不同的文化特征。英汉两民族在择偶方面都注重对方的才能、家风、聘礼以及门当户对。除此之外,汉民族还特别注重结婚的年龄和属相,他们深信,年龄不符或者是属相相冲都会导致不幸的婚姻；在婚姻目的中,汉民族结婚是为了传宗接代,而英民族则是一种世俗情怀；在婚姻的形式上,英民族提倡人格独立,自己有权选择自己的终身伴侣,而汉民族则遵守“父母之命,媒妁之言”,依靠父母和媒婆来选择自己的结婚对象。英汉婚姻谚语中的婚姻文化丰富多彩,而这些都是主要受到儒家文化和基督教文化的影响。本文从语言特点、婚姻隐喻以及文化内涵三个方面对汉英婚姻谚语进行对比研究,不仅帮助人们更好地了解婚姻谚语在语音、语意、词汇和语法结构方面的特点,而且帮助人们清楚认识自己的婚姻,为他们创造幸福的婚姻提供借鉴,同时也为外国人了解中国的传统婚姻文化打开了一扇窗。
[Abstract]:Language is the carrier of culture, is an important tool for human communication. As a special form of language, proverbs are the summary of people's living and working experience, is the crystallization of human wisdom about marriage. Proverbs are the human life and marriage attitude to marriage experience, proverbs about marriage are included in their foreign the national marriage specific culture. To study the different cultures of different ethnic marriage proverb, is a different marriage customs and culture research. Such a comparative study, not only is a mystery to us to deeply understand the differences between the two languages, but also can help us to understand the similarities and differences between the two ethnic marriage culture.
This study to achieve four purposes: first, provides background information on Chinese and English proverbs marriage for English learners, English learners can better understand the Jie Hanying marriage proverb. Secondly, Chinese and English proverbs respectively reflect their marriage customs, learners will respect and accept each other's culture, so as to increase the cross cultural communicative competence of learners. Again, I hope the teacher in the teaching process of English Proverbs on pay more attention to marriage. Finally, we hope this study effectively learn English proverbs through marriage and cultural factors to help the learners.

From the language characteristics of marriage, the three aspects of conceptual metaphor and culture study on the connotation of proverbs about marriage between English and Chinese. Many proverbs about marriage show different cultural characteristics of English and Chinese. English and Chinese two nationalities are focus on their ability, in mate choice tradition, and no dowry. In addition, the Han nationality also pay special attention to the age of marriage and they were. That does not match the age or Zodiac conflict will lead to unfortunate marriage; in the purpose of marriage, marriage is the Han nationality for procreation, while the English people is a kind of secular feelings; in the form of marriage, the English people advocate independent personality, they have the right to choose her lifelong companion, while the Chinese people are adhere to the "life of the parents, the words of a match-maker", rely on parents and matchmaker to choose their own marriage. Marriage between English and Chinese proverbs in the marriage culture of rich and colorful, and these are mainly influenced by Ru Jiawen and Christ The influence of teaching culture.
This paper from the three aspects of language features, marriage metaphor and cultural connotation make a contrastive study of English proverbs in marriage, not only to help people better understand the marriage of proverbs in speech, semantic features, vocabulary and grammatical structure, but also help people a clear understanding of their marriage, they provide a reference for the creation of a happy marriage, but also open a window for the foreigners to learn China traditional marriage culture.
