【摘要】：詹姆斯·乔伊斯是20世纪最伟大的、具有深远影响的爱尔兰小说家之一,也是现代主义文学创作的代表作家之一,他享有崇高的国际声誉。他在小说写作技巧的创新和实验上取得了伟大的成就，《都柏林人》为他叩开文学界的大门。《都柏林人》是乔伊斯的第一部短篇小说集,不但是大家所公认的最富盛名的小说，还是乔伊斯现代小说艺术的探索性作品,书中共有15篇小说,都是围绕着爱尔兰首都都柏林这个大背景展开的,生动地展示了20世纪初期都柏林的形形色色的中下层市民的生活。揭示了当时在大英帝国和宗教双重压迫下的爱尔兰社会生活中弥漫着的麻木不仁、死气沉沉的精神瘫痪的状态,在这个全面瘫痪的城市里,每时每刻都存在着麻木,颓废的片段,可以说这部小说集是反映都柏林人生活状态的一面镜子。在这部作品中,乔伊斯的文笔优美,表达的思想深刻。从文学创作理论的角度来看,乔伊斯在这些短篇小说中采用许多的艺术手法,从而使文章更加引人入胜。乔伊斯把《都柏林人》比作一个活生生的人,并按照都柏林人的童年、青年、成人等人生成长的三个阶段来进行叙述,虽然《都柏林人》中的每个小故事都可以独立成篇,但是它们之间联系却非常之紧密,前后呼应。他采用了不同的艺术手法，尤其像他多次论述过的顿悟艺术手法,以及象征的手法和重复的叙事手法等为切入点，从不同的视角和层面剖析爱尔兰精神瘫痪状态的社会生活,进而把主题有机地统一在一起。本文将着重从这三个方面对《都柏林人》展开全面详细的分析，进而更加深刻解读《都柏林人》的主题。全文共分三个部分：引言,正文和结论。引言简要介绍乔伊斯的作品和他所取得的成就,《都柏林人》创作的背景,以及国内外的研究成果和本文的研究意义。正文主要分为三章。第一章主要阐述顿悟这种艺术手法在《都柏林人》中的运用。顿悟原本宗教术语,指的是忽然的精神感悟。乔伊斯第一次把顿悟这个概念运用到了文学作品中，，而顿悟理论在《都柏林人》中得到充分的实现。受尽折磨后的爱尔兰市民终于在某一时刻忽然开朗,看清社会现实,明白自己的处境,从而悟出了人生的本质。本文按照童年,青年,成年三个阶段精选《姐妹们》、《伊芙琳》、《无独有偶》三篇小说来分析顿悟这一艺术手法。第二章主要论述象征这一艺术手法在《都柏林人》中的应用。在乔伊斯的众多作品中,最重大的艺术特色之一就是其对象征这一写作手法的灵活运用。《都柏林人》中的故事简单却含有深刻的象征寓意,深刻揭露了20世纪爱尔兰社会的精神瘫痪。独具匠心的象征手法的运用更表达了乔伊斯新颖独特的文学创作技巧。本文按照人生成长的三个阶段选择了《阿拉比》、《一朵浮云》、《死者》三篇文章分析乔伊斯在《都伯林人》中的象征手法的运用,进而揭示了作品的主题。第三章侧重挖掘《都柏林人》中重复的写作手法的体现,一群爱尔兰人追求梦想然而最终梦想幻灭的故事。重复的写作手法在这对推动故事情节的发展起到了举足轻重的作用。本文系统具体分析了《都柏林人》中不同类型的重复模式：句子的重复，单词和短语的重复以及意象的重复。语言的重复渲染了气氛,无疑更好地为提升小说的艺术魅力服务，而意象的重复起到了深化主题的作用。结论部分对论文进行总结,《都柏林人》中的三大艺术手法的运用和分析更好地透视了小说集的瘫痪主题,同时也洞悉了乔伊斯独特的创作思维和技巧。作者的目的在于深入地理解乔伊斯创作的初衷,乔伊斯的最大希望是通过自己手中的笔,洗涤爱尔兰同胞的灵魂,尽快地唤醒他们麻木,沉闷的精神状态。而当今社会,精神危机依然是现代人所关心的重大问题之一,因此这部小说集值得我们关注和探索。
[Abstract]:James Joyce , one of the greatest and influential Irish novelist in the 20th century , is also one of the representative writers of modern literary creation . He enjoys a high international reputation . He has made great achievements in the innovation and experiment of writing skills in the novel .

Dublin is the first short story of Joyce , not only the most famous novel , but also the exploratory work of Joyce ' s modern novel art . There are 15 novels , all around Dublin , Ireland , which vividly demonstrate the life of the middle and lower classes in Dublin in the early 20th century .

From the point of view of literary creation theory , Joyce employs many artistic techniques in these short stories to make the article more attractive .

The text consists of three parts : introduction , text and conclusion .

The introduction briefly introduces Joyce ' s work and his achievements , the background of his creation in Dublin , as well as the research achievements at home and abroad and the research significance of this paper .
