《小妇人》中清教主义教义在小说人物中的体现

【摘要】：美国十九世纪后半期女作家露易莎·梅·奥尔科特以其长篇小说《小妇人》而一举成名。在《小妇人》中,深受清教主义影响的奥尔科特对清教主义信条在人物形象塑造上的运用巧妙而自然。在刻画人物形象的过程中,通过对清教主义信条的综合运用,不但有效地传递了作者的创作意图,深化了作品的清教主义文化内涵,还增添了作品的深刻性与艺术性,而作者运用文学艺术的手法,把十九世纪的美国清教精神浓缩在小说里,使读者深切地感受到了清教主义宗教人文精神的深远影响。为了更好的支撑这一主题,该论文分为五章：第一章对研究背景的介绍其中包括对作者和小说做一简介——露易莎·梅·奥尔科特的生平、性格特征和写作生涯,接着简单介绍了一下了研究意义以及整个论文的大致框架；第二章主要介绍了清教主义在美国的发展史以及清教主义信条,接着概述小说故事情节并列举目前文学界对此作品的研究现状；第三章具体阐释了清教信条在小说四姐妹身上的体现,深刻剖析了清教主义对四姐妹精神成长经历的重大影响,从清教主义角度解读《小妇人》中四姐妹的人物形象；第四章简单列举了清教主义教义在小说几个其他主要人物身上的体现；第五章为结论,对全文进行概括总结,重申《小妇人》中体现出的清教主义思想的主题,以表明美国文学是简历在请教主义的基础上并指出本课题有待进一步发展的空间。
[Abstract]:Louisa May Alcott, a female writer in the second half of the nineteenth century, became famous for her novel Little woman. In Little Women, Alcott, deeply influenced by Puritanism, uses the Puritanism creed to portray characters skillfully and naturally. In the process of portraying characters, through the comprehensive application of Puritanism creed, it not only effectively conveys the author's creative intention, deepens the cultural connotation of puritanism in his works, but also increases the depth and artistry of his works. By using literary and artistic techniques, the author condenses the American puritanism of the nineteenth century into the novel, which makes the readers feel the profound influence of the puritanism religious humanistic spirit. In order to better support this theme, the thesis is divided into five chapters: the first chapter introduces the background of the research, which includes a brief introduction to the author and the novel-the life, character and writing career of Louisa May Alcott. The second chapter mainly introduces the history of Puritanism in the United States and the doctrine of Puritanism. The third chapter explains the embodiment of Puritanism creed in the four sisters of the novel, and deeply analyzes the great influence of Puritanism on the spiritual growth of the four sisters. From the perspective of Puritanism, this paper interprets the characters of the four sisters in Little Women; the fourth chapter briefly lists the embodiment of Puritanism doctrine in several other main characters of the novel; the fifth chapter is the conclusion, and summarizes the full text. The theme of Puritanism embodied in Little Women is reiterated to show that American literature is based on referencialism and to point out the space for further development of this subject.
