[Abstract]:Doris Lessing 1919-(1919-1919) is a famous English writer in the contemporary world, who became famous in 1962 for writing the Golden Notebook. Once published, the works are favored by feminists because of their true description of women's independence and living conditions. Because of its profundity and richness, the novel is widely concerned by various literary critics, and it is regarded as a classic to highlight the growth and liberation of women, which consists of a separate story and five notes. The novel creates the image of a "free woman", in which the notes of black, red, yellow and blue represent four different aspects of the heroine An Na's existence, namely, writer's life, political life, emotional life and spiritual life. The four different roles in real life make An Na unable to be unified in life and lead him into the dilemma of personality split. Four notes record An Na's psychological course out of the state of division. The final Golden Notebook is An Na's summary of life, implying that the characters in the novel have been integrated and sublimated. Lessing boldly molded the female image with self-consciousness and independence consciousness in her works. Following the life of the heroine An Na, the novel depicts the troubles and puzzles faced by free women in the new era, represented by An Na, and then shows the living state of modern intellectual women and their attitude to the world after World War II. This paper attempts to expound Lessing's objective understanding of free women from the perspective of feminism and reveal her satire and her experiences in career, politics and emotion. The contradictions and obstacles in the pursuit of freedom of women are revealed through the various practical dilemmas faced by An Na. Secondly, female consciousness and their identity have always been a central issue in the study of women. Women have the right to define themselves and control their lives. To get out of this mess, An Na separates himself from his identity in the face of an impending psychological breakdown. This paper will analyze the experience of An Na from awakening to maturity splitting to combination to witness her process of reconstructing her identity seeking freedom and forming a complete personality. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter introduces the author Lessing and the structure and content of the novel the Golden Notebook, and the second chapter introduces the feminist theory and its influence on Lessing. The third chapter is the objective analysis of free women, recognizing its irony and the interpretation of "free women" An Na life, respectively from the professional career, political life and emotional experience. Chapter four focuses on the process of reflection on life and identity exploration by free women. The way to explore is An Na's reflection on freedom, the awakening of female consciousness, and the ultimate choice and definition of his own life path. Finally, An Na achieves identity reconstruction by overcoming all kinds of difficulties. The fifth chapter is a summary of the full text, feminism can not help women to obtain real freedom, absolute freedom women do not exist, the most important thing for women is not the final victory in the war between men and women. But the correct grasp of their own situation and the unyielding exploration of freedom and identity.
