[Abstract]:This paper takes James Joyce (James Joyce) 's the Dubliners as the text to analyze Joyce's writing of his hometown of Dublin. On the basis of the previous studies, the thesis aims to further analyze the influence of urban space and spatial narration on the text, narration and character image from the perspective of urban space aesthetics and spatial narration. The Dubliner, as Joyce, is determined to bid farewell to tradition. An important beginning in the path of literary experimentation and innovation, it profoundly expresses the author's complex feelings for his native Ireland. What he does is to reveal this social reality and living state to the public. The tip of his pen moved from Dublin to Dublin. However, his life is contrary to his creative ideas. This paper is divided into six parts: the first part, introduction, combing and reviewing the domestic translation and introduction of Dubliners, as well as the domestic and foreign research status of urban literature and cities in literature since the 1980s. It also explains the perspective of this paper on Dubliners. The second part is the relationship between Joyce and Dublin. Far from Dublin, the double exiled experience of heart and body precipitated rich creative material for the author, and Dublin became an unbearable pain in Joyce's life. The Dubliner is a typical example of Joyce's urban writing. Condense the author's imagination and immerse the author's feelings about his hometown. The story of every corner of the city is his metaphor for the city. In the third part, the author analyzes the spatial layout from the natural environment to the city, from the sky to the earth, from the streets covered with various buildings to the indoor staircases and furnishings, and constructs this narrative space in all directions. From the perspective of Joyce's own thoughts and feelings and from the text of a number of spatial forms, from the overlooking and walking of these two space practice, This paper reveals the inner theme and complex feelings of the characters and abstracts the spatial narrative relationship from the spatial structure of Joyce's novels. The fourth part analyzes the alienation of the Dublin people's spiritual world and focuses on the theme of the novel under the above urban mirror image, and clarifies the humanity concern revealed by Joyce in the urban writing. The fifth part analyzes the unity of text structure and theme, and summarizes the aesthetic significance of the narrative structure of Dublin Man. The sixth part, the conclusion, when the writer writes his own city, he not only conveys the real city, but also reveals all kinds of contradictions and puzzles of human beings about their living space and their own creation. The author thinks that the spiritual deficiency is not only Dubliners, but also reflects the sense of loss and alienation that human beings generally face in the complex and chaotic modern society.
