存在与词语——《在西方的眼睛下》学术史研究

【摘要】：《在西方的眼睛下》是康拉德的三部政治小说之一。主人公拉祖莫夫是俄罗斯圣彼得堡大学的学生。他不善外交,专心学习,不想卷入革命活动。一次偶然的事件却让他身陷政治漩涡,由此开始了他复杂的生活之路和心路历程。小说问世后,受到了批评界的广泛关注,而焦点主要在如下几个方面:政治与人性、忠诚与背叛、存在与虚无、语言与叙事。本文则试图对批评家们论述不够详尽的两个问题作进一步的阐释:一是人何以存在,一是词语的力量。这是该小说探讨的独特性,又是小说探讨的普遍问题。
[Abstract]:Under the eyes of the West is one of Conrad's three political novels. The protagonist, Razumov, is a student at the University of St. Petersburg, Russia. He was not good at diplomacy, devoted to his studies, and did not want to be involved in revolutionary activities. An accidental event led him into a political whirlpool, which led to his complicated life and mental journey. After the publication of the novel, it has received wide attention from the critics, and the focus is mainly on the following aspects: politics and humanity, loyalty and betrayal, existence and nothingness, language and narration. This paper attempts to give a further explanation of two problems that critics have not discussed in detail: one is why man exists, the other is the power of words. This is the uniqueness of the novel and a common problem.
