从跨文化交际学视角透视《喜福会》中中美文化的冲突与融合

【摘要】：跨文化交际理论认为,在跨文化交际中,文化对交际起着举足轻重的作用。在一定社会文化环境下成长的人们必然受到该文化环境因素的影响和熏陶,从而形成相应的价值观和思维方式。不同文化相互碰撞会产生冲突,然后彼此相互退让,并逐渐找到平衡点,最终实现融合。本文从跨文化交际学角度对美国华裔作家谭恩美的作品《喜福会》进行了解读,从作品中母女两代人由矛盾到理解的过程入手,透视了中美文化从冲突到融合的过程。归纳出中西文化由冲突碰撞到融合的发展趋势。第一章介绍了论文的研究背景、目的、意义、研究手段、方法、以及论文整体框架结构。第二章介绍了引起文化冲突与融合的相关跨文化交际理论,包括Hofstede的价值观维度和Kluckhohn与Strodtbeck的价值观取向以及Hall的强势交际环境文化理论。第三章对《喜福会》进行解读,透视作品中代表东西方两种不同文化的母女两代人从冲突到融合的过程。第四章从跨文化交际的角度阐述了当今全球背景下中美文化的冲突与融合,重点介绍了美国的多元文化,分析了中美文化从冲突到融合的必然性。第五章则是对全文的总结,提醒人们在当今全球化环境中,树立正确的跨文化交际观,科学对待中西方文化,培养较强跨文化交际能力,以正确态度对待文化冲突寻找其平衡点,同时不要轻易否定母语国文化。在学习全世界其他优秀文化的同时,也要向他们传播中国传统文化。
[Abstract]:The theory of cross-cultural communication holds that culture plays an important role in cross-cultural communication. People who grow up in a certain social and cultural environment are bound to be influenced and influenced by the cultural environmental factors, thus forming the corresponding values and modes of thinking. Different cultures collide with each other, then give in to each other, and gradually find the balance point, and finally achieve integration. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, this paper interprets Amy Tan's work, Joy Luck Club, from the perspective of cross-cultural communication, and starts with the process of mother and daughter from contradiction to understanding, and perspective the process of Chinese and American culture from conflict to integration. The development trend of Chinese and western culture from conflict to integration is summarized. The first chapter introduces the research background, purpose, significance, research methods, and the overall framework of the paper. The second chapter introduces the cross-cultural communication theory which causes the cultural conflict and fusion, including the value dimension of Hofstede, the value orientation of Kluckhohn and Strodtbeck, and the cultural theory of strong communication environment of Hall. The third chapter interprets the Joy Luck Club and analyzes the process from conflict to fusion between mother and daughter who represent two different cultures of East and West. The fourth chapter expounds the conflict and fusion of Chinese and American culture in the global context from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. It focuses on the introduction of American multiculturalism and analyzes the inevitability of Chinese and American culture from conflict to integration. The fifth chapter is a summary of the full text, reminding people to set up a correct view of cross-cultural communication, treat Chinese and western cultures scientifically, and cultivate a strong ability of cross-cultural communication in today's globalized environment. Strike a balance between cultural conflicts with a correct attitude, and do not easily deny native culture. While learning other excellent cultures around the world, we should also spread Chinese traditional culture to them.
