试论格鲁克歌剧改革的美学观

【摘要】：格鲁克的歌剧改革在西方歌剧发展史上具有重要地位,它将歌剧拉回正轨,引领着歌剧发展的方向,体现了旧制度的瓦解,新思想的形成。而歌剧改革这一行为是根据他所确立的美学观进行的,改革歌剧则是他美学观的具体体现。本文从音乐史学、音乐分析学以及戏剧学的角度分析了格鲁克歌剧改革美学观的形成、具体内涵以及在改革歌剧中的实践,力求从多方位对格鲁克歌剧改革的美学观做全面而深入地研究。文章着重用其“言”(《阿尔采斯特》序言中美学观的理论阐释)及“行”(改革歌剧中的具体实践)来论述歌剧改革美学观的具体内涵。歌剧《阿尔采斯特》(Alceste)的总谱序言实际上就是格鲁克关于歌剧改革美学观的集中阐述,笔者通过仔细阅读总谱序言的内容,在参考诸多资料的基础上,将其歌剧改革美学观概括归纳为两点：“音乐服从于戏剧”以及“真实、质朴、自然”。在歌剧美学的核心问题——音乐与戏剧的关系上,格鲁克提出了歌剧音乐应该服从于戏剧的发展,实现了歌剧中音乐手段及音乐形式有效的为戏剧服务,成为推动剧情发展、烘托戏剧环境、刻画人物形象、抒发人物内心情感的重要手段；并提出了“真实、质朴、自然,是一切艺术作品美的三个重大原则”,在他的改革歌剧中注重歌剧中表现要素的质朴性、歌剧情感表达的真挚性。
