清末民初的侦探小说翻译及其对中国原创侦探小说的影响

近年来,随着人文科学的文化转向,翻译研究也开始从以往的语言学研究方法,慢慢转向文化研究。这一转向使对翻译的考察从文本内转向文本外。许多以往靠单纯、静态的手术解剖式语言学研究方法难以解决的关于翻译方法的争议,放在文化的角度,往往迎刃而解;对于翻译的偏见、误解,透过文化学的眼光,也可以得到比较圆满的回答。可以说翻译研究文化转向为翻译学科本身地位的提高,对于翻译研究领域拓展都起了不可估量的作用。 由于文化本身的复杂性和丰富性,各种文化理论层出不穷。以色列学者埃文·佐哈尔的多元系统理论就是其中之一。这个理论本身关注文化生成的过程。翻译由于在文化生成与发展和相互影响中的活跃表现,这个理论也给予了相当的关注。多元系统理论视各种符号为系统,翻译文学也被视作文化多元系统的一部分。翻译文学的行为模式受到翻译文学在译语文化地位的影响。当它处于中心位置时,他积极参与创造“一级模式”,打破译语文化的传统规范。但处于边缘时,翻译文学采用保守的“二级模式”。 清末民初翻译小说,在中国翻译史,乃至中国文化史上,占有重要的地位。侦探小说,作为一种新的小说模式,在1896年引进中国并很快就被中国读者接受。在其后的二十多...
