【摘要】：西方侦探小说的汉译在中国翻译史上经历了两次高潮,一次是清末民初时期,一次是改革开放以后。其在中国文学史上产生了巨大而深远的影响。但对国内侦探小说的译介在翻译选材、翻译策略、译文在中国文化系统中的地位和功能方面的完整状态,以及其对国内文学创作具体影响方面,至今也没有一个统一的认识。多元系统理论提倡在翻译中把翻译和译作与所产生和被阅读的文化语境、社会条件、政治等因素结合了起来对既成的翻译现象进行描述对分析上述问题提供了不错的视角。本文以两次译介高潮时期的英法美等国家的大量侦探小说的汉译本为研究对象,选择了阿瑟·柯南道尔的《福尔摩斯探案集》的汉译本作为案例分析。借助于多元系统理论,采用了对比研究的方法,对国内两次侦探小说译介高潮在缘由、特征及译文在中国文化系统中的地位和功能,以及对本国原创侦探小说的影响等方面进行了对比研究。发现西方侦探文学在我国的两次译介高潮都与当时的社会文化语境有着密切的关系。每一个时期的翻译文学都有自己的历史使命,尤其是在社会大变革时期,所以它的翻译具有鲜明的时代性。翻译文学也会对目标语国家的社会文化带来一定的影响,但其影响的程度同样会受到目标语国家当时的社会文化语境的束缚。
