及物性视角下美国、英国、尼日利亚和南非媒体关于2018年中非合作论坛新闻报道的态度对比分析

2018年中非合作论坛北京峰会在北京成功举办,引起了国内外媒体的广泛关注。南非和尼日利作为中非合作论坛的重要参与者,积极进行了相关报道,同时,由于历史原因,美国和英国也密切关注中非合作论坛,关注中国在非洲不断增强的影响力。为了准确了解并揭示以上四个国家主流媒体对2018中非合作论坛的态度,本研究选取美国主流媒体10篇、英国主流媒体14篇、尼日利亚主流媒体14篇、南非主流媒体10篇有关2018中非合作论坛的报道作为语料,语料总计超过4万字。在及物性理论指导下,本研究在小句层面对所选语料进行了全面、细致的及物性分析,并借助语料库软件UAM corpus tool3.3,标注并统计了及物性的总体分布情况、及物性各个过程的分布以及及物性过程中过程、参与者和环境的搭配。通过上述研究发现,本研究描述并比较了四个国家主流媒体对于2018中非合作论坛的态度。研究表明,四个国家的新闻报道都选择不同的及物性过程、参与者和环境的组合,其中物质过程多用于说明中非合作论坛给中国和非洲国家的机会和挑战;关系过程强调中非合作中的问题和影响;言语过程利用不同话语来源呈现不同利益相关方对中非合作的态度。及物性运用的差异...
