[Abstract]:The research group of Professor Qi Hai of Tsinghua University Medical College revealed for the first time the new immune function of inducible costimulatory molecule (ICOS), which directly controls the migration of immune T cells in vivo, and provides a new clue for understanding the antibody produced by immune organs. Therefore, a new direction is pointed out for the development of protective vaccine. The paper was published in the recent issue of Nature. The process of human resistance to chronic infectious diseases is, in fact, the production of antibodies by immune cells to eliminate micropathogens such as viruses and bacteria.
