【摘要】：正2017年4月19日路透社Stephanie Nebehay:盖茨基金会、西方各国以及制药公司承诺将支持热带病消除计划,并鼓励更多捐助者加入,一同对抗这些导致热带地区贫困人民失明、残疾以及毁容疾病的斗争中。据世界卫生组织(WHO)发布的数据显示,主要分布在亚非拉美地区的约有15亿人口,感染了已知的18种被忽视的热带病(NTDs)之一种。其中有10亿人正在接受治疗,儿童患者占据一半。
