高活性低膨胀生物微晶玻璃的制备与性能表征

【摘要】:在钛合金表面制备生物活性涂层已成为种植体材料研究的一个重点,制备出适用于钛合金表面具有骨诱导或骨引导作用的生物活性涂层材料在种植体的研制中具有重要的地位。本文以典型的Na2O-CaO-SiO2-P2O5系45S5生物玻璃组分为基础,分别以6mol%的K2O、MgO、B2O3、TiO2、CaF2、NH4HF26种成分替代45S5中6mol%CaO,并采用溶胶凝胶法制备出了7种生物微晶玻璃,探索具有良好生物活性并与钛合金在性能上特别是热膨胀系数相匹配的新型涂层材料。采用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)、傅立叶红外转换光谱(FTIR)、热膨胀系数测试仪、显微硬度计、电子拉伸试验机等测试方法对所制备的生物活性微晶玻璃材料的组织结构及物理性能进行系统的研究,并对材料在模拟体液中的生物活性进行了表征。 由溶胶凝胶法制备的7种不同组分的玻璃粉末的DTA曲线分析可知,7种不同成分的生物玻璃在710℃和850℃附近基本上都会出现放热析晶峰,说明通过适当的热处理工艺可以实现玻璃的晶化转变。并由此确定玻璃粉末的微晶化处理为在710℃时保温2h后再升温至850℃时保温1h。 溶胶凝胶法制备的7种不同组分的玻璃粉末以非晶相为主。晶化处理后,7种玻璃均有结晶相析出,结晶相主要有以Na6Ca3Si6O18为主的NaxCa6-0.5xSi6O18晶相和少量Na2CaSi3O8晶相,其SEM表面形貌中可观察到颗粒状、块状以及条状的细小晶粒的存在,K2O、B2O3(?)CaF2的添加可增加玻璃试样的致密度。在45S5玻璃组分的基础上,除MgO外其它物质的添加都降低了45S5的析晶温度,促进了45S5析晶,以B203和CaF2的促进作用最为明显。 各种组分的添加有助于生物微晶玻璃抗弯强度、硬度的提高和断裂韧度的降低。特别地,CaF2的引入对基础玻璃抗弯强度和硬度的提高最为明显。在弹性模量方面,只有MgO的添加可以较大程度的提高生物微晶玻璃的弹性模量值,其它组分的引入则影响较小。7种成分的生物微晶玻璃20~500℃的线膨胀系数大致在(9.1~12.5)×10-6/℃范围之内,符合钛合金涂层材料线膨胀系数较低的要求。综合各物理性能指标进行评估,引入CaF2组分的微晶玻璃物理性能最好。比较适合用作钛合金表面涂层材料。 7种生物微晶玻璃在模拟体液中浸泡2d后表面均有沉积相出现,经过EDS、XRD和FTIR分析发现表面沉积相主要为碳酸磷灰石以及少量的羟基磷灰石。N6试样浸泡14d表面基本被磷灰石覆盖,21d后已经生成了较厚的一层磷灰石。溶胶凝胶法制备的所有试样均具有良好的生物活性,但是N3试样生物活性较其他试样低。 综合物理性能及生物活性等方面考虑,引入6mol%CaF2的生物活性微晶玻璃具有较好的物理性能及良好的生物活性,并且线膨胀系数与钛合金接近,适合作为钛合金表面涂层材料。
