中学生英语词汇深度知识、学习策略与阅读能力的相关性研究

  词汇作为语言学习的基础,词汇习得的探讨同样广受关注。近些年来,学者的注意力也在渐渐从词汇广度知识转移到词汇深度知识上来,词汇习得指的不仅仅是简单地掌握其音、形、义,还需要对这个词的知识有全面的把握,即掌握其词汇深度能力。而学习者的词汇深度能力又与他们所采用的学习观念、学习方法和策略息息相关。词汇学习策略是指学习者有意借助一些方法来更好的理解和记忆词汇。同时,词汇与阅读的相互关系也一直是二语研究的关注焦点。在相关研究基础上,本研究试图将词汇深度知识和词汇学习策略视为影响学生阅读能力的两个因素。本研究选取50名某实验性高中的高二学生作为受试,对他们的词汇深度知识和词汇学习策略的总体情况进行调查,并收集了当月期中考试阅读部分的成绩。笔者首先对高中学生的词汇学习策略和词汇深度知识进行调查。通过调查问卷来收集学生的词汇学习策略使用情况;词汇深度知识从词汇的近义词、一词多义和搭配进行测量。同时,这两项作为影响学习者词汇能力的因素,分别对它们和阅读能力的关系也进行了研究。本文提出了以下研究问题:1)高中学生所采用的词汇学习策略的整体水平以及词汇深度能力如何?2)学习者采用的学习策略与词汇深度知识是否显...
