释意派翻译理论在商务合同翻译中的适用性

　　中国加入WTO之后,在国际贸易和商务中获得了更多的机遇。国际商务合同因此得到更频繁的应用,与此同时,高质量的合同翻译也获得更大的需求。然而合同翻译对译者而言是一个巨大的挑战,因为合同作为一种法律文书在语言、结构和文体风格上都具有鲜明的特点,特别是中英文合同在语言和结构上具有很大的差异。译者应该在合同译文中准确充分地传达原合同的意义并且要保证译文的语言地道以体现译文合同自身的特点。但想做到这一点并非易事,因此寻找一种能指导合同翻译的翻译理论则显得非常必要。 释意派翻译理论不失为一个好的选择。释意理论认为译文应取得意义对等。此处所说的意义对等是就篇章层次上而言的。为达到此目的,释意理论提出了一个分三步走的翻译步骤:1.理解;2.脱离原语言外壳;3.表达。除意义对等标准外,该理论还提出译文应在语言特点、结构和文体风格上与原文保持一种相似性。对于译文而言,意义对等总是第一位的,其次才是形式上的相似。通过对合同译文应达到的要求和释意派翻译理论所主张的翻译标准的比较,我们不难发现释意派翻译理论正是我们所需要的能指导合同翻译的理论。 本文试图研究释意派翻译理论在指导合同翻译实践中的适用性...
