从文体学视角论英文商务合同的翻译

　　当今社会,“合同必守”的意识深入人心,合同早已成为人们生活的重要组成部分。当事人通过订立合同确定双方的权利与义务,通过履行合同达成双方意向并完成交易,以此调整人身财产关系。作为约定合同双方权利与义务的正式文件,商务合同被赋予了法律含义并广泛应用于国际商贸领域。为避免纠纷的发生,保护当事人切身权益,商务合同的译者必须确保准确真实地再现原文意思及原文文体风格,因此高质量的合同翻译愈加重要及必需。由于商务合同的功能及其应用环境的特殊性,商务合同英语,有别于其它英语,在词汇和句法方面都具有鲜明的文体特征。在翻译此类商务合同时,既要做到忠实于原文内容,又要做到忠实于原文的文体风格,译者就必须运用特殊的翻译原则为指导,达到高质量的翻译。本文第二章首先介绍合同概念,分类及内容结构,第三章对文体,文体学加以概述,并对商务合同英语的文体加以界定。借助大量英文商务合同范例,作者对合同英语文体特征进行具体、详尽的分析和阐述。第四章论述英文商务合同的翻译。本章首先概述何为翻译并探究翻译与文体的密切关系,然后该文介绍各名家针对各种应用文体提出的特殊翻译标准,最后本章结合对售货合同的文体特征分析,应用英国翻译理论...
