[Abstract]:During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, China will eliminate excess coal production capacity of about 800 million tons each year and increase its advanced production capacity by about 500 million tons per year through reduction, replacement and optimization of layout. By 2020. The national coal output is 3.9 billion tons. On December 30th 2016, the State Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Bureau promulgated the 13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Coal Industry. China will strictly control new production capacity during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and will no longer approve new coal mining projects within three years. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, China will phase out about 800 million tons of excess coal production capacity each year.
