[Abstract]:The emergence of minimalism conforms to the requirements of the times. There must be, or there is a design that is quite different from the previous era, after the complicated and luxurious style. The style from complexity to minimalism has changed in a twist. People are looking for a simple way of designing to adapt to a society that is growing faster and faster, and people find they don't have the time to enjoy the complex design. Everything got too fast. The pace of social development forces people to speed up their lives, and slowing down means falling behind the rest of the world. This is something nobody wants to happen. For designers, the rapid development of the product has also played an accelerated role in upgrading, the product has become more and more simple, simple to use only a few geometric building to develop into a mature product appearance design. What is even more surprising is that people seem to be satisfied with this simple design. Clear appearance, easy to understand when people use the product without having to read the long instructions in a laborious area. GM launched a "planned repeal system" to speed up the replacement of products. This is not a change in nature, but a small upgrade on the basis of the original. The user who has bought a generation is able to quickly master the second generation of product usage, and then again and again. Frequent changes to the new generation also require that the product's styling cannot be too complex and minimalist to meet the requirements of the manufacturers, in addition to the needs of consumers and social ethos. Minimalism, as the guide and founder of modern design, developed rapidly in the 1950s and 1960s, and continues to this day, although there are many different design styles such as functionalism or minimalism after minimalism. But the minimalist design maxim of "less is more" is deeply imprinted in these new design styles.
