汽车零部件包装用聚丙烯复合材料性能研究

【摘要】:目的研究纳米氧化铝(Al_2O_3)对聚丙烯(PP)/碱式硫酸镁晶须(MHSH)/氮-磷复配阻燃剂(N-P)复合材料力学性能和燃烧性能的影响。方法对MHSH和Al_2O_3进行表面改性处理,利用混合机将PP、MHSH、Al_2O_3和氮-磷复配阻燃剂进行混合,采用熔融共混法制备PP/MHSH/Al_2O_3/N-P复合材料。结果当Al_2O_3的添加质量分数为8%时,复合材料的力学性能较佳,随着Al_2O_3含量的继续增加,复合材料的力学性能逐渐降低;Al_2O_3质量分数为5%时,复合材料的极限氧指数(LOI)为23.6%,其阻燃性能明显得到提高,随着Al_2O_3填充量的继续增加,复合体系的LOI增长速度变缓;当Al_2O_3质量分数为8%时,复合材料力学和阻燃综合性能最佳。结论 Al_2O_3经表面改性处理后,其在PP基材中分散良好,对聚丙烯复合材料起到补强和增韧作用,复合材料的阻燃性能也得到了改善。
[Abstract]:Aim to study the effects of nano-alumina (Al_2O_3) on the mechanical and combustion properties of polypropylene (PP) / basic magnesium sulfate whisker (MHSH) / nitrogen-phosphorus (N-P) composite flame retardant composites. Methods the surface modification of MHSH and Al_2O_3 was carried out. The PP,MHSH,Al_2O_3 and N-P flame retardants were mixed in a mixer. The PP/MHSH/Al_2O_3/N-P composites were prepared by melt blending. Results when the mass fraction of Al_2O_3 was 8%, the mechanical properties of the composites were better. With the increase of Al_2O_3 content, the mechanical properties of the composites decreased gradually. When the mass fraction of Al_2O_3 was 5%, the ultimate oxygen index (LOI) of the composite was 23.6%, and the flame retardancy of the composite was improved obviously. With the increase of Al_2O_3 content, the growth rate of LOI in the composite system became slower. When the mass fraction of Al_2O_3 is 8%, the mechanical and flame retardant properties of the composites are the best. Conclusion Al_2O_3 is well dispersed in PP matrix after surface modification, which can strengthen and toughen PP composites and improve the flame retardancy of PP composites.
