【摘要】：在当今的全球经济形势下，企业和企业之间的竞争不仅体现在产品的质量，，价格和性能之间的竞争，并且体现在是否能对客户的需求提供快速的响应和及时供货服务，从而满足客户需求,以提高客户服务水平。但是公司的库存水平和提升客户服务水平，这两个方面在一定意义上是存在对立的矛盾关系的：一方面，为了维持客户满意度和提升服务水平就需要建立比较高的库存水平；另一方面，降低库存水平就有可能降低客户服务满意度。因此，现代企业和企业之间的竞争已经使企业的供应链管理和物流管理也参与进来，如何在维持和提升客户的满意度的同时又要对本公司的库存水平管理进行控制。本论文在这背景下，通过作者所在单位A公司的工作中所面临的发展现状和所遇到的实际问题进行阐述和分析，运用库存控制理论，通过从外部环境压力和因素进行系统的分析以及对A公司内部业务流程和经营状况分析可以发现，物流成本和物流服务是当今企业的核心竞争。因此，如何优化物流操作，以降低成本和完善的服务已经成为必要性。在分析问题的基础上，提出了对A公司的具体改进措施： 1.通过对内部客户订单和外部客户订单采取不同的改善方案：如通过船期表进行预定箱；2.优化职能部门（仓库的集中和整合）；3.操作流程的改革和改进；4.SAP系统订单输入方式的变更；5.包装标准化等方面进行变更和改善。从供应链管理和物流管理方面的改善来探索出一条适合于A公司的精益物流之路，从而达到既能快速灵活地响应客户需求以达到维持和提高服务水平和客户的满意度，又能达到降低库存水平和节约成本的目的，增强A公司在市场上的竞争力。最后，在总结本研究的基础上，总结和展望了结论以及不足之处。
