【摘要】：正抚顺市图书馆始建于1952年11月5日,原馆名为"抚顺市人民图书馆",馆舍面积1100平方米,1954年改名为"抚顺市图书馆",1974年馆舍迁至新抚区永宁路市劳动公园西侧,2001年6月馆舍迁至顺城区浑河北路4号,2014年4月迁入现馆址,2014年5月16日新馆开馆,新馆建筑面积10 000平方米。抚顺市图书馆现有馆藏90余万册,包括近4万册古籍、中外文图书及各类数据库、电子图书、期刊等各类文献。抚顺市图书馆常年组织各类讲座、展览、读者沙龙活动,并形成了"读书节"等总计达96TB的视频资源,连续多年接待读者均在百万人次以上。
