【摘要】：正《中国书法》:您从上世纪书法复兴以来,一直以独特的创作面目与学术见解活跃于当代书坛,为人也大度爽快,今天我们的问答简单明了,直入主题如何?首先请谈谈您的创作理念。周俊杰(以下简称"周"):每个人的创作都基于一定理念,故当代书坛因观念不同而产生了不同的流派。我的创作基于"新古典",前提首先是要深入、真切地把握经典书法的形质及美学内核,重点是秦汉人的厚重气息和童心感,再根据个人的性格、气质、审美追求选择书体及形式风格。而具体创作中则抛却概念和种种教条,更不去迎合什么,特别强调强烈而磅礴的生命力,用全部生命投入到创作的进程之中。《中国书法》:您谈到"不迎合"指的是什么?周:比如不少人要入选什么展览,就要迎合展览的各种要求、评委的审美情趣,然后开始"安排"、"制作",最后作品可谓"完美",然失去的则是感染人的、使人震撼的、充满生命力的激情。
