[Abstract]:The convention and exhibition industry is the strategic leading industry of modern service industry, the link of market transaction and the platform of information exchange. It can bring together the flow of people, logistics, capital, technology and information flow, which can promote employment, stimulate consumption and reduce transaction costs. Optimizing the allocation of resources and promoting innovative development have the characteristics of low input, high output, low pollution, high added value and so on. From 1999 to 2013, the annual growth rate of China's convention and exhibition industry remained above 20 per cent. In 2013, a total of 2363 economic and trade exhibitions were held nationwide, with a total exhibition area of about 70.15 million square meters.
