金融发展影响出口产品技术复杂度的理论及实证分析

【摘要】：我国在30年的金融体制改革实践中，一步步建立了适应社会主义市场经济发展要求的多元化金融体系，为长期经济增长奠定了坚实的基础，也验证了金融发展理论对国家长期经济增长的重要意义。与此同时，在出口导向型的贸易政策引导下，出口贸易成为我国经济增长的重要引擎，通过参与国家间商品、劳务和技术的交换，一方面实现资源在全球的最优配置，另一方面为我国参与国际竞争提供契机。那么，金融发展与出口贸易在作用于经济增长的同时，两者之间是否存在联系？金融发展是否可以促进出口贸易结构的优化？如果能够的话，通过什么途径产生这种作用？研究表明，金融发展可以作为比较优势的来源，通过技术进步效应对出口贸易结构产生影响，而金融发展的技术进步效应表现为对FDI技术溢出效应的发挥。本文基于衡量出口产品质量的出口产品技术复杂度指标，利用国家贸易数据和收入数据，实证分析了FDI技术溢出视角下金融发展对出口产品技术复杂度的作用机制。首先，对金融发展影响出口贸易的机理进行了相关研究文献的梳理。接着，利用1996-2010年SITC2分类标准中三位码产品的出口数据，测算了239种产品的出口产品技术复杂度和216个国家出口产品篮子技术复杂度。之后，针对FDI技术溢出视角下金融发展提升出口产品技术复杂度的间接渠道，在理论分析基础之上，保留了1996年到2010年91个国家的面板数据，对金融发展影响出口产品技术复杂度的作用机制进行了面板数据分析。结果表明股票市场指标衡量的金融发展存在提升出口产品技术复杂度的显著正效应，而银行市场指标衡量的金融发展提升出口产品技术复杂度的作用机制并没有发挥效用。最后，基于经验研究结论，本文提出了提升我国出口产品技术复杂度和优化贸易结构的基本建议。
[Abstract]:In the practice of financial system reform for 30 years, China has established a diversified financial system step by step to meet the requirements of the development of socialist market economy, which has laid a solid foundation for long-term economic growth. At the same time, under the guidance of export-oriented trade policy, export trade has become an important engine of China's economic growth. The exchange of labor services and technology, on the one hand, realizes the optimal allocation of resources in the world, on the other hand, provides an opportunity for our country to participate in international competition. Is there a link between the two? Can financial development promote the optimization of export trade structure? If so, by what means? Research shows that financial development can be used as a source of comparative advantage, and that the structure of export trade can be affected by the effect of technological progress. The technological progress effect of financial development is the exertion of FDI technology spillover effect. Based on the technical complexity index of export product, this paper uses national trade data and income data. This paper empirically analyzes the mechanism of financial development on the technical complexity of export products from the perspective of FDI technology spillover. Firstly, the mechanism of financial development affecting export trade is reviewed. Then, the export data of three-digit code products in SITC2 classification standard from 1996 to 2010 are used. The technical complexity of export products of 239 kinds of products and the technological complexity of export basket of 216 countries are calculated. Then, the indirect channels to enhance the technical complexity of export products under the perspective of FDI technology spillover are discussed. Based on theoretical analysis, panel data for 91 countries from 1996 to 2010 were retained. The panel data analysis of the mechanism that financial development affects the technical complexity of export products is carried out. The results show that the financial development measured by the stock market indicators has a significant positive effect to enhance the technical complexity of export products. However, the mechanism of increasing the technical complexity of export products by the financial development measured by bank market indicators has not played a role. Finally, based on the empirical research conclusion, This paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the technical complexity and optimize the trade structure of China's export products.
