货币战争中的中国形象——《纽约时报》有关人民币汇率议题报道的框架分析

【摘要】：通过对各方话语的巧妙选择和强调,《纽约时报》为人民币汇率议题建构了一个是非鲜明的道德框架,并在其中塑造了一个自私卑鄙的中国,指出中国是当今世界尤其是美国所面临的许多问题的根源。这不仅表明人民币汇率议题已被道德化,而且也显示了西方媒体及其主流社会评价中国的一种新趋势,在世界经济领域表现优异的中国在道德上仍是一个"他者"。
[Abstract]:By skillfully choosing and emphasizing the various discourse, the New York Times has constructed a non-moral framework for the RMB exchange rate issue, and in it has shaped a selfish and despicable China. It is pointed out that China is the root of many problems facing the world, especially the United States. This not only indicates that the RMB exchange rate issue has been moralized, but also shows a new trend in western media and its mainstream society to evaluate China, which is still morally a "other person" with excellent performance in the world economy.
