从道家洞天到观音圣界——中古东亚文化交流背景中的普陀山开基故事

【摘要】:在佛教中国化的过程中,浙江舟山群岛的普陀山被认定为观音说法的圣地,并得到东亚,乃至全世界的广泛认可。古印度佛经中的观音说法地实际另有所指,与普陀山自然风貌相近的近海处所也并非绝无仅有,甚至唐代中期以前,普陀山在世人心目中是道家修炼的海中蓬莱。从道家洞天到观音圣界,普陀山作为观音信仰圣地的开基,与其处于东北亚航线与东南亚航线交汇之处的地理位置密切相关。诸种普陀山开基故事中,日僧慧锷渡海留像一事日益得到中外史料的证实,但从时代背景来看,梵僧和新罗贾人也活跃于当时的航线之上。多种开基故事表明,普陀山作为观音信仰圣地的发轫正由多元文化的接触所成就。
[Abstract]:In the process of Buddhist Sinicization, Putuo Mountain in Zhoushan Islands, Zhejiang Province, was recognized as the sacred site of Quan Yin Theory, and was widely recognized in East Asia and even the world. The Guanyin expression in the Buddhist scriptures of ancient India is actually another requirement. Even before the middle of the Tang Dynasty, Putuo Mountain was regarded by the world as Penglai in the sea of Taoist practice. From the Taoist cave heaven to the holy world of Quan Yin, Putuo Mountain, as the holy place of Guanyin belief, is closely related to its geographical position at the junction of the Northeast Asia route and the Southeast Asia route. In all kinds of Putuo Mountain Kaiji stories, the fact that the Japanese monk Hui-e crossed the sea and left behind is increasingly confirmed by Chinese and foreign historical materials. However, from the background of the times, the Brahmo and the Silla were also active in the course of that time. Many Kaiji stories show that the origin of Putuo Mountain as the holy place of Guanyin belief is due to the multicultural contact.
