任务型教学法在高职院校旅游专业学生英语口语教学中的应用

【摘要】：随着经济全球化的迅速发展，英语作为一种重要的交流工具在国际交流中起着越来越重要的作用。近几年，内蒙古自治区旅游也迅速发展，对能够运用英语进行有效沟通的旅游专业毕业生需求量大大增加。在未来的职业中高职毕业生需要做实践的工作,而不是进行学术工作。交际能力主要体现在口语上。因此，对于旅游专业学生的英语教学，口语交际教学是不能忽视的一个重要组成部分。然而,目前中国的英语教学和学习远不能令人满意。大多数高职学生认为英语是一项艰巨的任务。他们对英语学习失去了信心尤其是英语口语，此外,在高中的应试教育使得师生忽视口语技能。高职院校中使用的教学方法仍然是以教师为中心,以词汇,语法和应试为中心,导致高职毕业生不能有效的交流,不能满足社会和就业市场的需求。因此,我们教师有责任探索和重建旅游专业学生英语口语的教学模式,以有效提高学生的口语能力。任务教学法是由交际语言教学发展而来，20世纪80年代兴起，它是一种强调“做中学”让学生有机会说英语的语言教学方法，目前，国内大部分任务型教学研究侧重于该教学模式在大学和中小学教学中的应用，却很少有涉及高职院校旅游专业学生的。在这种情况下,作者将运用任务教学法运用到旅游专业高职学生的英语课堂，检验任务型教学法是否可以有效改善高职旅游专业学生口语水平的英语学习的非智力因素。本文理论基础是基于Willis的任务教学模式，探索任务型教学法在高职旅游专业学生英语口语教学中的作用。本文的研究对象是内蒙古化工职业学院旅游13的学生。旅游13-1班为实验班，采用任务教学法;旅游13-2班为控制班，采用传统教学模式。调查工具是两份口语测试卷、两份调查问卷以及访谈。本研究的程序为:实验前，作者先对两个班进行了口语测试和问卷调查，主要调查学生非智力因素水平，比如：对英语学习的态度、自信心、兴趣以及学生的口语水平。结果表明，在这两个方面两个班没有明显差异。根据学生在英语口语中出现的问题，笔者在实施任务教学时，在实验班有针对性的开展教学。首先介绍背景知识，明确教学任务，然后把不同的活动分配给不同的小组，小组讨论并完成报告，最后，分析语言热点并进行练习。试验结束后，对学生进行第二次口语测试和问卷调查，以及学生访谈，结果表明任务教学法对学生英语口语有积极的作用，优于传统教学模式。实验数据是借助SPSS13.0软件进行分析处理的。本研究结论为: 1.在改善高职院校旅游专业学生英语口语方面，，任务型教学法更加有效，可以满足社会和企业对学生的要求。 2.任务教学法有利于激发旅游专业学生英语口语学习中的非智力因素（动机、信心、兴趣和团队意识）。虽然本研究取得了一定的成果，但还存在一些不足，如研究对象人数少、范围窄，研究时间较短,这些可能会影响到数据分析的准确性，但本研究对任务教学法在高职院校旅游专业学生口语课堂的应用以及研究结果进行了真实的描述，对任务教学法的研究及高职旅游专业学生英语教学对有一定的参考价值。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of economic globalization , English as an important communication tool plays a more and more important role in international communication . In recent years , the tourism of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has developed rapidly . In recent years , the demand for graduates of tourism majors that can effectively communicate in English is greatly increased . In the future , English teaching and learning are far from satisfactory .

Therefore , it is the responsibility of our teachers to explore and re - establish the teaching mode of students ' oral English in tourism , so as to improve students ' oral English effectively .

The task teaching method is developed by communicative language teaching . It is a kind of language teaching method which emphasizes " doing middle school " to make students an opportunity to speak English . At present , most of the domestic task - based teaching research focuses on the application of the teaching model in the teaching of universities and primary and middle schools .

This paper is based on the task teaching model , and explores the role of task - based teaching method in the teaching of students ' oral English in higher vocational tourism . The research object of this paper is to study the students ' non - intelligence factors , such as the attitude , self - confidence , interest and the students ' oral English level . The results show that the task - based teaching method has a positive effect on the students ' oral English and is superior to the traditional teaching mode . The experimental data is analyzed and processed by SPSS 13.0 software .

The conclusions of this study are as follows :

1 . The task - based teaching method is more effective in improving the spoken English of tourism majors in higher vocational colleges , which can meet the demands of society and enterprises for students .

2 . Task teaching method is helpful to stimulate non - intelligence factors ( motivation , confidence , interest and team consciousness ) in students ' oral English learning .

Although some achievements have been made in the study , there are some shortcomings , such as the small number of subjects , narrow range and short study time , which may affect the accuracy of the data analysis . However , the study has made a real description of the application of task teaching method in the oral classroom of tourism major in higher vocational colleges and the results of the study . It is of reference value to the study of task teaching method and the English teaching of students in higher vocational colleges .
